Will this be the most anticipated "sporting' event of the summer, the Nathan's hot dog eating contest? iI's prety much going to be the World Series, Super Bowl and World Cup Final all rolled into one, times a thousand. This could quite possibly be the biggest "sporting" event of the year....the decade.

The Wing Bowl pretty much trumps the hot dog contest and Kobay is a puss for not competing.

Who the fuck cares what it glorifies. Any contest that involves massive amounts of alcohol consumption and tit flashing by random girls and strippers alike is a fucking party. Nevermind it all takes places before 9am. Oh yeah there's also an eating contest somewhere in the middle.

I think the bigger picture here should highlight the fact that the Wing Bowl isn't bigger just because you say so. Nathan's hot dog eating contest is recognizable world-wide, and is aired on national TV. Is the Wing Bowl?

Of course not- Nathan's has 91 years of history behind it. The WB has 14. The champ is from Japan and he's obviously got icon status in his country. I'm not downplaying how popular that contest is.

But in terms of pure entertainment, the Wing Bowl (complete with local and national eaters.. some of whom also participate in Nathan's) along with the peripheral entertainment previously mentioned easily beats Nathan's. The reason you'll never see it on ESPN (at least before 11pm) is because of the amount of tits and ass that are prevalent in the crowd, not to mention the stage with all the strippers.

I heard a rumor that Kobay might even participate in next year's WB.. if he does, it will be interesting to see just how much coverage this event would get.

First of all, those hot dog eating contests are bullshit when they’re allowed to separately eat the hot dogs then dip the buns in water to make easily swallowable mush out of them. Should have to eat them together the way they’re constructed, slathered with mustard the way God intended.

Considering were the land of hot dogs and fat fuckers, someone should be able to win a damn hot dog eating contest.

First we start sucking in International Basketball, then Hot Dog eating, what next Football....no I hope to god we dont lose to a bunch of japs in Football.
