A nearly exact inverse scenario happened with NAFTA. Funny how the interests in favor of globalization always seem to get their votes when they need them.Cicero wrote:Unbelievable. Hard not to notice which side was more heavily represented. I'm not surprised at all.

I have yet to encounter one person who favors amnesty.
But what the heck...those people aren't constituents or anything...
Oh, wait.
Time to take this country back. Since it's a negligible percentage of constituents that favor the amnesty, yet Congress has decided to vote it through anyway, then they are criminally liable for not doing their job.
Impeach ever last one of them...not tomorrow, not next week...NOW. If they're not voting for what their constituency wants, then WTF are they doing?
But regardless...if they don't do their jobs, mark my words...there will be vigilanteism the likes of which this country hasn't seen.
Time to remind the traitors who is in charge. If they don't do our bidding, we will...by force if neccessary.

Hate to be the one to break it to you, Sis...the Dems are the ones that have been fighting for tougher immigration laws the last couple of years. Their goasl has been to trash any amnesty-type legislation the pubs bring to the table.
The republicans are the ones who want the American workforce flooded with cheap labor.
Neither of them is worth a shit.
Tell me you knew all this, or are you really this fucking stupid and ignorant?

I'll go ahead and assume then that you're doing your Patriotic Duty and boycotting hotels with illegal housekeepers and restaurants with illegal employees. Oh, and I'm sure you don't eat any food picked by illegals, either.mvscal wrote:It's really not so much a Republican v Democrat issue. It's more like an Americans v Traitors issue or perhaps Sane v. We've all seen our share of crazy, greedy or just plain stupid shit coming out of Washington, but the Majority leader quoting Cat in the Hat while ramming through a bill that is a de facto abdication of national sovereignty is a real Through the Looking Glass moment.
Yes...McCain is soft on wetbacks.mvscal wrote: McCain is a cosponsor of this piece of shit, idiot. He's already down with La Raza despite the fact that his home state is getting plunger raped by wetbacks.

Glad I could clear that up for you...idiot.

How else are we to consume cheap Chinese products at an ever quickening pace? The republicans are the ones who want the American workforce flooded with cheap labor.
Our existing underclass just wasn't expanding quickly enough.
The folks that call the global marketplace shots can not, or care not to look past the ends of their noses. Why bother? For what reason?

Funny, I told senator Specters office the same thing and the bitch told me I had it all wrong. She said the majority of the American people support comprehensive immigration reform. When I told her the legislation in the senate wasn't comprehensive reform but amnesty and the overwhelming majority of Americans are against any type of amnesty we started to argue. After ten minutes(or so) of going back and fourth I got pissed and told her that I would never again vote for senator Specter, or any republican that would support amnesty. She then told me I'd have to take that up with the other republicans because senator Specter is retiring after his term is up.

A few of them do. A few of them (i.e. Chimpy, Rove, and that Cock Sucking Faggot, Lindsay Graham to name a few) actually think giving the beaners amnesty will induce said beaners to vote GOP. Everybody else knows better.Dinsdale wrote:

Did you guys know that If the entire population of the world were put into the land area of Texas, each person would have an area equal to the floor space of a typical U.S. home and the population density of Texas would be about the same as Paris, France? It's a fact.
So if six billion people could fit nicely into Texas, 1 billion would have no problem fitting into the current cities of USA.

As long as we can wall off the entire state of Texas, and lay claim to all of the natural resources in the places where these people used to live, count me in.Dr_Phibes wrote:Did you guys know that If the entire population of the world were put into the land area of Texas, each person would have an area equal to the floor space of a typical U.S. home and the population density of Texas would be about the same as Paris, France? Oh, and just so there's no confusion, we'd be back to 49 states.

The 12 million number is nearly a decade old

Gee, babs, you seem surprised?...that the same corporate fascist malignancies upon whose collective scrotum you've been so sourly swinging these past years are---!!!--only concerned with supplying lots of cheap labor. You know, as per your Dittohead marching orders, to undermine labor unions in America and so return us to the good old days of 1910.
You're worried about "violent felons" being allowed to remain in the U.S.?....and yet you are relatively unconcerned about an actual coup of international war criminals having taken over and subverted the nation's judicial, economic, and environmental laws and systems--as well as shitcanning its reputation around the world? You're basically not worried that a criminal entity in the anachronistic form of a "Zionist" hyper-military race-state should be playing our congress like an accordian--and driving the world into a geo-political morass?
You really need to WAKE THE FUCK UP!

But then you'd have to live in texas. Who the fuck in their right mind would want to live there?Dr_Phibes wrote:Did you guys know that If the entire population of the world were put into the land area of Texas, each person would have an area equal to the floor space of a typical U.S. home and the population density of Texas would be about the same as Paris, France? it's not exactly Paris.

I did the math. 6,082,067,904 people would be able to fit into Texas with an allotment of 1200 square feet per person.Dr_Phibes wrote:Did you guys know that If the entire population of the world were put into the land area of Texas, each person would have an area equal to the floor space of a typical U.S. home and the population density of Texas would be about the same as Paris, France? Presuming the average family unit has 4 persons, that would mean that the average family would not even be given so much as a standard .12 acre (5,227.2 sq foot) village lot. It also means the whole state would look like Archie Bunker's Queens neighborhood.

Not only that, they'd have to share it with a bunch of cattle and armadillos.BSmack wrote:I did the math. Of course not! And who is "Big Labor" these days? Yes, that's right. Urban Tulsa did an in-depth story about this.
At least you have that going for you.
Is this the thread where we post UFO abduction stories and true-to-God snake-healings, too?
