pretty interesting series from the HBO we reinvented our business model and to great effect--Deadwood, Rome, Sopranos etc.
just shows that good writing about real things and not just plastic titties and explosions and faux-moral heroic violence porn can work.
maybe already posted, i don't know.

I enjoyed the series quite a bit.
So far, I've enjoyed Joe from Cincinnati quite a bit. I'm glad the Sopranos has ended, there were some great stretches in that series, but the material was getting pretty thin.

Good show... and one of the BEST endings to a show ever. Let me know when you're finished....

Seriously - that's one of the better endings to a series that you'll see.
HBO has been too abrupt on canceling some things...Carnivale and Rome for example. Both of those shows were badly affected by a rush to get plot lines completed, especially Carnivale, which was essentially ruined.

Carnivale also had a shitload of legal problems with some guy claiming it was stolen form him.. haven't checked the case in a while- not sure what is going on with it. I was PISSED when it was cancelled

the last few episodes of Rome season 2 were sort of silly. let's murder Cicero and then have a family pic-nic. wha?
i wanted to watch Carnivale.
6 feet under was great.
