Halo's swept by the Royals

What've you got to say for your team, RJ?

Apparently, you'd better put your World Series reservations on hold. The Royals hadn't swept anyone all year, or even managed to string together 4 wins in a row, yet they roll into Anaheim at the back end of a 9 game roadie and bitch-slap what many consider the best team in the league. You got shut-out today for 6 innings by Delarosa, who'd had like 6 straight starts getting run before the 5th.

Something isn't quite right in Halo land, while the Royals are actually starting to play like a MLB team for a change. It's like a cool drink of water to a man lost in the desert of baseball futility for a generation. Maybe there's hope for this franchise yet. Maybe us long suffering Royals fans are starting to see a glimmer of hope that next year the season won't be over by the end of April.

Nah... probably not.

The AL powers have been taken in the pooper this week from the also-rans...the Halos getting worked by the Royals, Seattle swept the Red Sox, and the Tigers dropped the first two of four against Texas.

I'm not concerned about RJ's ability to sack up.

I'm pretty sure KC caught 'em at just the right time, and they made the always fatal mistake of taking another pro team too lightly. The Royals have a $60 million payroll. Maybe chump change in the grand scheme of things, but these guys are playing hard trying to earn it.

Me either....because when there's money on the line, RJ willingly pays up each and every time.

I've been so busy lately that I barely get the time to check my personal email.......

Anyhow, the Royals get a ton of credit for coming in to our crib and beating us 3 straight-especially since its been the house of horrors to just about every other team coming in (Best home record in the majors by a wide margin before this slipup)

The Halo's played unispired and flat-and the Royals were lights out. Good job, fellas.

Personally, i'd like to see them acquire a big bat for Santana (overrated MF), Hillenbrand, and a prospect or two-but it seems highly unlikely at this point. Either way, i'm comfortable with the team we have now-they've all been relatively healthy-except Anderson, who is the black J.D. Drew-and if they can stay that way, will undoubtedly be in the World Series.
