Saw and heard the heartbeat. Simply amazing that medical science has allowed us to have a look at something so tiny. Right now the little guy is a mere.5 cm long.

Rack that one swimmer for hitting paydirt.
May your first child be a masculine child.

Unless it's a girl. What, you want him to have a daughter with thick hairy arms and a Tom Selleck moustache?

Why not? That house could use a masculine presence.

You know that weird tapping sensation your OL keeps feeling inside her uterus? That's Little BSmack practicing clicking 'Submit'.

Is that a calamari, or a pan-fried sausage? Either way, RACK you for taking your wife out for breakfast and proving it with a picture.

No, babies are not for you.
No newborn should ever be at the hospital wondering when they can take their father home. It's way too much burden.
Unlike your babies. Pepaw will take care of everything for Daddy :) again.
BSmack, on the serious tip, I hope the baby is healthy and your wife and your baby come through delivery hale and well. NOW and NARAL may want to cover folks eyes with wool, about how that's not a little human being you and your wife have created... but fuck 'em.

That and no idea how much his life is about to change, regardless of how many
other peoples' kids he's been around.

One question - how did the uterine lining know it was time to grab hold of something floating by? It's one thing for a server to let a chef know which entree is O.J.'s...how the fuck does this pregnancy thing get going?

Maybe you want to invite him to one of your oft-referred to dick-measuring contests, Derron? Get in while he's still small - and possibly female, in the long run.

Congrad's Bri and best wishes.
On a side note I just paid the bill for my daughter's regististration for her first semester at Fresno State and it was only $1600.00, in another 20 years it will only be 3 times that amount.

Yeah but Bri's kids will more likely be going to SUNY Oswego. Wonder how much that costs...

Good luck, BSmack. I hear raising children is expensive. Try to round up as many sick nieces as possible. That should keep the collection agents at bay.

I'm pretty sure it's more expensive than $1600 a semester.
Y2K's estimate about college costs tripling in 20 years is way too conservative, btw.

Bri:
Congrats on passing on your genetic heritage. I'm thinking that quaffing some brew at the Idle is called for, especially now that you've got a designated driver for about another 8 months.
Any way to get that kid some in utero golf disc practice? Get the kid a putter to kill some time in there.

Estimated total cost for a student in the SUNY system is $16,880 for the year 2007-08. I'm sure by 2025 it will be a
little bit more.
Mike,
I'll have to see about getting the Mrs. to come on down to the Idle. I'm sure it won't be too much of a hassle. Been a year since Slick and I went down and drank the place dry for the 40th Anniversary party. I think my brain cells have even begun to recover.
Thanks for the good wishes guys.

Will illegals still be getting free or in-state tuition rates, or will they have closed the door behind them at that point?
Bri, don't get your drink on. That's disrespectful to the little one.

Jeebus, I hope that includes living expenses, if my kid were to live in the dorms I could tack on another 4 grand per semester.
I'm pretty stoked we are only a 10 minute ride to CSUF, now I can buy more shit for me....

You know the old Spinner's song...
Whenever you call me, I'll be there
Whenever you want me, I'll be there
Whenever you need me, I'll be there
I'll be around...yeah
Whenever you call me, I'll be there
Whenever you want me, I'll be there
Even if I have to call, I'll be there
I'll be around
Just call me at home, I'll be there
I'll never leave you alone, I'll be there
Just call out your name you know I know you know
I'll be around
