His lineage is pure. The game is pure. The players have never been pure. The Black Sox scandal, booze, speed, coke, gambling, roids have infested the players over the great history of our greatest game. The players have never been pure, but the game has. Half you guys, if not more have never played any sport above the high school level. If you had, you would understand the magnificance of this achievement. To hit a round ball with a round bat is the single most difficult thing in all of team sports. To make the ball leave the yard is even more difficult, to do it 756 times is beyond difficult, it's fucking amazing. Did he roid up....perhaps. Was it banned at the time? Nope. To call him a cheat is wrong. If there is no rule against it, it's his body, his risk, why does anyone give a shyte.
Hank Aaron handled the event with all the class we've come to expect from the hammer. Too bad the pseudo-commish had no such sack. He was a joke as a commish far before this, and will never be more than a joke.
