top 10 dirtiest programs

i'll agree with your second premise, but the "nothing to do" argument is pretty tired and generally nonsensical. Colorado made one of these lists at #10, there's a lot "to do" in Colorado. As did Florida State. Washington. is there quantifiable "more to do" in Nebraska than Oklahoma?SoCalTrjn wrote:I thought it was odd that both the oklahoma schools and both the alabama schools were among the top 10, 2 states with nothing else to do but college football and 2 states where the 4 schools involved probably blew the whistle on one another for most the infractions
There is plenty to do in central OKC. For those of you who say otherwise your just ignorant or have a preconceived bias.King Crimson wrote:i'll agree with your second premise, but the "nothing to do" argument is pretty tired and generally nonsensical. Truth is we are talking about dirty programs.
If the gaytors are not ranked higher than FSU, the poll is bullshit.
Quite frankly I don't have much affinity for Oklahoma outside of OU but I'd rather e in OKC than visit LaLa land ever again...SoCalTrjn wrote:I agree while there is as little to do in Nebraska as there is in Oklahoma or Alabama there is only 1 major football program so they have nobody in their business trying to blow the whistle on them
A cowboy museum and a few minor league franchises, holy shit, I better speak to my travel agent, there's something Im missing there in fly over country
I'm not normally in the business of jumping to SoCalTrjn's defense, but seriously man, trying to argue that Oklahoma City hasSunCoastSooner wrote:Quite frankly I don't have much affinity for Oklahoma outside of OU but I'd rather e in OKC than visit LaLa land ever again...SoCalTrjn wrote:I agree while there is as little to do in Nebraska as there is in Oklahoma or Alabama there is only 1 major football program so they have nobody in their business trying to blow the whistle on them

I guess I don't get that. The basis for the poll was unethical conduct, academic fraud, failure to monitor, and lack of institutional control.RumpleForeskin wrote:Rack Texas for not making that list. Although, that could change after this year.
I am not saying we have never cheated. We got busted in 1987. But OU....Jesus H. Maybe we are better at covering shit up. You guys get busted all the time. And, it is not like we aren't a big time program where people are looking for a reason to investigate us.King Crimson wrote:Texas never cheated, ever.
you guys still have what, 5 major infractions and were bullet-proof in your puppet SWC.
if half the stories Switzer tells about UT recruiters are true, UT is #1 with a bullet.
Sorry Mike but where di I say Oklahoma had board over LaLa land. I just stated that personally prefferred to go out there as oppossed to LaLa land. To be honest I'll take the community I live in over both 'em in a heart beat.MiketheangrydrunkenCUfan wrote:I'm not normally in the business of jumping to SoCalTrjn's defense, but seriously man, trying to argue that Oklahoma City hasSunCoastSooner wrote:Quite frankly I don't have much affinity for Oklahoma outside of OU but I'd rather e in OKC than visit LaLa land ever again...SoCalTrjn wrote:I agree while there is as little to do in Nebraska as there is in Oklahoma or Alabama there is only 1 major football program so they have nobody in their business trying to blow the whistle on them

Switzer?? Yeah, he has honesty written all over him.
and wasn't a racist asshole. for those of you who don't know, while the rest of the world "got it", UT and the Southwest Conference continued to field all-white teams into the 70's.SunCoastSooner wrote:
Switzer has just as much credibilty as DKR...
Two of those violations under DKR... the same amount that Switzer was levelled with during his tenure at OU.King Crimson wrote:and wasn't a racist asshole. for those of you who don't know, while the rest of the world "got it", UT and the Southwest Conference continued to field all-white teams into the 70's.SunCoastSooner wrote:

Texas has 5 major infractions. is that correct? that puts you in the big leagues of innocence and virtue?
First of all, DKR was from Oklahoma....that means he couldn't help being a racist asshole.King Crimson wrote:and wasn't a racist asshole. for those of you who don't know, while the rest of the world "got it", UT and the Southwest Conference continued to field all-white teams into the 70's.SunCoastSooner wrote:

You are funny. Like any Texas fan wouldn't know that DKR went to OU and was from OK. Duh. Where hae I ever said that Texas is a model of Moral Virtue? Where have I defended players who get arrested and act like it is not a big deal? Every time OU gets in trouble with the NCAA there is always an excuse. Players selling drugs out of the Athletic dorm?King Crimson wrote:DKR was from Oklahoma. yeah, Hollis, OK.
hilarious that you bring that up, now.
ohh, the 1988 stuff. you know how to hit where it hurts. did you read about it in SI? go back to hornfans.com and get back in the circle jerk. arm getting twitchy, Harv?
Keep crying when the 18 inches of toilet paper you need aren't there.
just keep telling yourself UT is #1 and the model of virtue.
