Best week of the season, on paper?

Though it will be early, Week 2 has some intriguing matchups:

http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/schedules ... groupId=80

11:10 AM West Virginia at Marshall
12:00 PM Nebraska at Wake Forest
12:00 PM Miami (FL) at Oklahoma
12:30 PM Alabama at Vanderbilt
TBA Missouri at Mississippi
2:00 PM California at Colorado State
2:30 PM North Carolina State at Boston College
3:30 PM Oregon at Michigan
3:30 PM Fresno State at Texas A&M
3:30 PM Boise State at Washington
5:45 PM South Carolina at Georgia
6:00 PM Notre Dame at Penn State
6:00 PM Air Force at Utah
6:30 PM Brigham Young at UCLA
7:00 PM TCU at Texas
7:00 PM Southern Miss at Tennessee
7:00 PM UTEP at Texas Tech
8:05 PM Syracuse at Iowa
9:00 PM South Florida at Auburn
9:15 PM Virginia Tech at LSU
10:00 PM Wisconsin at UNLV

Looks like it will be time to buy new remote batteries on Sept. 8. My plans: Start the brats about 10 a.m., along with the first beer. Holy shit. I wouldn't be surprised if there is an upset or two, along with some amazing games.

If you guys think there is a better week, at least on paper, post it.

Some good games in Week Two for sure (and don't forget about Colorado @ ASU). Damn, I am going whitewater rafting that day. My DVR will get a workout. Might not be as good as Week 2, but Week 3 has a decent lineup:

9/13
7:30 PM West Virginia @ Maryland

9/15
12:00 PM Illinois @ Syracuse
12:00 PM Pitt @ Michigan State
1:30 PM Iowa @ Iowa State
3:30 PM FIU @ Miami (FL)*
3:30 PM Fresno State @ Oregon
3:30 PM Notre Dame @ Michigan
3:30 PM Ohio State @ Washington
3:30 PM Tennessee @ Florida
5:00 PM UCLA @ Utah
6:30 PM Louisville @ Kentucky
6:45 PM Arkansas @ Alabama
8:00 PM USC @ Nebraska
10:00 PM Florida State @ Colorado

I meant nationally, not conference-wise.

ok, ill put everyone up for the 6th

nebraska @ MU
Tejas vs OU
Tenn vs Georgia
Iowa @ Penn st
Miami @ Nrth Carolina Davis returns to play canes
nc st @ FSU
V Tech @ Clemson
OSU @ aTm
tOSU @ Purdue
Notre Dame @ UCLA
Florida @ LSU

and several good game possibilities. just because the top 25 arent involved, doesnt mean its not good football. I bet some of the lesser matchups will be as good or better than FLA @ LSU.

The Big 12 definatly takes the lead on the 6th of October with other match ups including...
Kansas vs Kansas State (The Sunflower Classic)
Oklahoma State vs Texass A&M

There is more to October 6th than just the Big 12 as well...

Notre Dame at UCLA
Florida at LSU
Georgia at Tennessee
Cincinnati at Rutgers (I think this will be a good game and hopefully on TV somewhere)
Miami at UNC (Butch versus DaU)

where's that link we had last year with the entire TV schedule per week?

i made some half-witted searches but can't remember what the site was called.

anybody bookmark it?

i've tried to motivate some buddies to drive up to Fort Collins for the CSU-Cal game. it should be kinda fun, no real "takers" so far though. Hughes Stadium in the Fort is pretty small...."intimate" seating as they'd say if you getting prison raped on tickets by Ticketmaster.

i'm a big westwood one fan, but we don't get it regularly in Denver/Boulder.
