Probably should be moved to MLB forum, but this is definitely worthy of more attention.
The Texas Rangers defeated the Orioles 30 - 3 tonight. The game took 3 hours and 21 minutes and the Orioles managed to throw 252 pitches in the game. Unbelieveable

30 runs? That is pretty remarkable.
I guess the O's were saving their pitchers for the
second game of the doubleheader.
Oh, and somebody got a save.

huh?
It's the most runs scored in a MLB game since 1897.
Meaningless? Don't compare this game to your life, Todd.

Just say some derogatory remarks about Pearl Jam like "Eddie Vedder likes to toss Stone Gossard's salad while giving Michael Moore a hand job before every show" and S_M will be melting in no time.

Actually tell him that Dave Abruzzese (sp?) was a much better for PJ than Matt Cameron ever is or will be and watch the mushroom cloud unfold.

How does someone get a save when they’re up by 20-some runs? Didn’t you used to have to face the tying run, or something like that? Baseball sucks out loud.

If a reliever goes 3 innings he gets a save

Well, he should probably also get a little star he can stick on his locker.

A run scoring every 8.4 pitches. Bwah. That must have been fun to watch.

Pitching rules in Baseball are wacky. Night before last, A Giants pitcher tossed 8 awesome innings, no runs allowed on 3 hits. In the 9th, he allowed two hitters to reach base, so he was yanked. At the time, the Giants were leading 1-0.
The relievers proceeded to blow the game as usual, but IF just one of those runners had been allowed to score by the pitcher who relieved the starter, and the two teams went into the bottom of the 9th tied 1-1 and the Giants won it there 2-1, the reliever would have gotten full credit for the victory, despite having pitched only 3 outs of the game and having been the one who delivered the pitch that allowed the run to score, as opposed to just shutting down the other team like he's paid to do.
The starting pitcher gets no credit for going 8 full scoreless, and on top of that, the Bully Meltdown actually resulted in him getting charged for the loss, because the shit pitchers in the BP allowed both of his runners to score, plus 3 more.

Only everything.
Response A: holy 8th batter getting 9 RBIs, Batman.
Response B: your wife is unimaginably vast. Her snizz makes a Thickburger look like a tofu roll-up by comparison. Good luck on not offing yourself whilst endeavoring to please her amongst her pock-pored humungousness.
