dude has got to be the greatest all around musician, evah.

I was pretty sure stevie's head was gonna snap off towards the end. love when he goes all neil pert with his double bass rolls. the comments are pretty funny too. especially the "dude, a blind man is handing you your ass" smack directed at the band's other drummer.

Not surprising that one of the greatest keyboardists in the history of pop music would also be expert in a few other percussion instruments.

looking at all the old (pre 80s) black music leads me to ask one question.

Who stole you fukkers' musical talent? I'm sure whitey was in on it. If whitey did steal it, why the fukkk ain't he did anything with it lately?

On all of the classic Stevie Wonder albums (after he gained artistic control from Motown - Music Of My Mind, Talking Book, Innervisions, Fulfillingness' First Finale, Songs In The Key Of Life, etc.) he wrote, arranged, produced and played EVERY instrument on virtually every cut. There were guest artists, especially guitar soloists, on some cuts but on many he was the only musician.

The only modern artist to even approach his level of multi-instrumental virtuosity is, ironically, another Stevie (Winwood).
