But no sig bet unless the stipulation is, in the case Oregon beats Couger High by say 10 points, Rumple provides something like the following for Dins "Oregon may be no world beater but they can still beat Couger High with a weak effort."

No way can anyone claim against the spread unless it's the pick'em game.

I would be open to bartering on the spread, but it wasn't even offered by Dins after the initial bet I made.

That's the way. Spread is fair for monetary bets. Sig bets are for pride and pride alone. How can you take pride in losing a game by less than the spread? If I bet on A&M as a dog and they lose but cover the spread, I still am pissed and could care less about the money.
