The Dude: Walter, what is the point? Look, we all know who is at fault here, what the fuck are you talking about?
Walter Sobchak: Huh? No, what the fuck are you... I'm not... We're talking about unchecked aggression here, dude.
Donny: What the fuck is he talking about?
The Dude: My rug.
Walter Sobchak: Forget it, Donny, you're out of your element!
The Dude: Walter, the chinaman who peed on my rug, I can't go give him a bill, so what the fuck are you talking about?
Walter Sobchak: What the fuck are you talking about? The chinaman is not the issue here, Dude. I'm talking about drawing a line in the sand, Dude. Across this line, you DO NOT... Also, Dude, chinaman is not the preferred nomenclature. Asian-American, please.
The Dude: Walter, this isn't a guy who built the fucking railroads here. This is a guy...
Walter Sobchak: What the fuck are you talking about?
The Dude: Walter, he peed on my rug!
Donny: He peed on the Dude's rug?
Walter Sobchak: Donny you're out of your element! Dude, the Chinaman is not the issue here!

Made out well? What was the line Sam? Didn't realize they started posting lines for A vs. AA games.

only 5 teams in 1a have never played 1aa teams. I think that teams that play 1aa teams should not be eligible for bowl games

Sam, that was easily the biggest upset in the history of the game. Never before has a 1-AA beaten a ranked D1. But to do it to a #5 team, in their house, who happens to have more wins than anybody else in the history of BTPCF...well, nothing else comes close. I thought a 16 seed would beat a 1 seed in March before I would've picked something like this.

But feel free to list all those other upsets which are so much greater than this one.

You can't be serious. Vying for a darkhorse spot as 2007 Boardbitch, Sam?

So you're speaking for the players now? I can't imagine anybody takes the Michigan game lightly. But I know, I know...this comes down to your ever so deadly and patented "Because I said so!" method of reasoning.

I look it sort of as justice, as someone who has been disgusted by teams playing 1AA schools at home for an easy win. I find it funny that Appy state is not only taking a check for 400k home from Ann Arbor, they are also taking Michigans season home with them to the mountains of North Carolina.
It was a sad day when the SEC schoiols pushed for more 1AA schools on the scheduel when the NCAA went to 12 games for everyone, every conference should have taken that extra gam and added another conference game.

Agree totally. The Pac-10 got that right. The Big Ten got it dead wrong, especially when one of its teams continue to have both tOSU & UM off the schedule every season (make that two this year-- Iowa and Indiana).

I am not a fan of these cross-division matchups - not at all.

However, when a 1-AA team (not quite done with that term yet, thanks) can go into Ann Arbor and beat UM, I guess they have their moments.

Any Given Saturday was last Saturday.

I think at some point every "name" team will receive a wake-up call of this sort - this just happens to be a really LOUD one - nearly the loudest one I can conceive of for this season.
