Jimbo, Poptart, and all you other turd tampers; Ha

Tomorrow the Bolts are going to start the beat down on the rest of the league that only you fucknutts can wish to put down on a piss-ant hill in your backyard.

Chicago Bears 1st up - Rex Grossman is going to be toast by 30 secs into the 2nd quarter or if he gets 8 touches

Bolts 27 - Bears 6

If this contest was played in Chicago I'd pick the Bears.
I like SD at home here though -- despite the presence of pineapple head on your sideline.

Super Bowl losing teams have quite a history of playing with a grade-A hangover the following season.
I'll assume Chicago might feel this too.

The Blots will make enough plays on offense, and Grossman will hand it over a couple/few times too.

Blots 24
Bears 17

grossman vs merriman and co, it could get ugly

5 turnovers for grossman

I think the team that runs the ball better will be the winner, and that team will be the Chargers. The Chargers will limit Benson and force Grossman into an untimely turnover or 3.

SD - 24

Chicago - 16

No Shit.

If I still had Bolt seats, I'd whore out to one and all and reap the profits. It sounds as if there's a lot of like-minded seat holders down there in LoCal.

BTW...I'm watching the Raider/Lions game, and the guy who made a pick for the Lions with under 4 minutes to go in the game went to the sideline, snuggled up alongside one of his teamates, and kissed him just below the ear. Did this guy just come over from NFL Europe or somewhere that kind of thing is tolerated in public? He wasn't aiming at a cheek.

figures you'd catch this instead of the Duh's giving up 16 pts. in the last 3 minutes...Nice team the Duhs..holding Kitna and the Lions to 35

After you wade through the biased Fox broadcast team that was sucking the cock of Chicago for the whole game the broadcast sucked. Locally they missed the kickoff after Bolts TD in the 3rd quarter. As far as Chi-Town fans in the stands. Those are the bandwaggon fuck transplants that will root for the Chargers or Padres everyother day of the week until there "home town" comes to town. Well I say fuck them, me and a couple of my bud's that are b&r here couldn't give 2 squirts of piss for those assholes.

Solid defensive game, but a win is win. Stick that down your throat KC and Oak

Next weekend will be tough going to NE, should be a hellavu game,

What matters is that Chi fan was mum and removing their Chi jerseys at the 4th quarter and ending. We beat the NFC Champs.

Philip Rivers needs to really settle down. The ref was getting really annoyed with him after the blown goal line call. Philip can you hear me? Settle your ass down.

I forgot to say that I thoroughly enjoyed seeing us not give the ball back to the Bears. Martyball RIP. And a special rack to Jon Kitna my fantasy fb qb who actually put up a bunch of points for me today.

Good.

Just be sure to drink heavily, and remember -- there's no time like the present, with loaded gun in hand. You've got the entire board pulling for you.

RACK the Bolts for winning a game that was dominated by both defenses, for forcing turnovers and capitalizing on them, and for making fewer mistakes and having a lot more left in the fourth quarter than the opposing team.

In other words, RACK the Bolts for beating the best team in the NFC at their own game.

Even though LT was held in check and Rivers was pretty ineffective about 60% of the time, this was a thoroughly convincing and impressive win, especially for the defense. We'll learn a lot more about this year's team next week.

Well, now that American Heritage has proven you to be once again full of crap...

I see Chargertard is still Chargertard... like that's a suprise to anyone. Their absolutely hilarious ignorance of football history obviously stems from their complete absence from it...

Classic.

But look on the bright side -- The Juice has a chance to lead the NFL in both sacks and douchebaggery, so you've got that going for you.

OK. Props to the Chargers for taking their initial step on the way to a first-round loss in the playoffs.

Memo to KFC Paul: Shit starter? Just revisiting a topic that was covered last season, much to the amusement of non-Charger fans. Shouldn’t you be off reading other message boards searching for a take on next week’s Chef loss?

The Bears? A "shitty NFC team"? All smack aside, you are a fucking pinheaded dumbfuck. Seriously.

Speaking of shitty teams...who the did the Gaytriots just play again? The Yets? Go fuck yourself, idiot.

The Bears play in the NFC. List the top ten teams in the league. Are the Bears one of them? If they are then you don't know football. The Patriots played on the road in front of a hostile crowd. Your comparison doesn't hold water however. The Patriots CREAMED their shitty opponent while the Bolts barely scraped by. Enjoy your white washing back into reality next week. Don't get mad when we celebrate this time either you bunch of pussies....

I think he was trying to say that ALL NFC teams are shitty (in comparison to the AFC).

He would be incorrect because the Detroit Lions looked like the class of the NFL yesterday. I'm quite positive they'll represent the NFC in the Super Bowl.

Ahhhhh yes. The usual mvscal response. Im an idiot but yet you have no opinion on what I presented? List me the top ten teams. The Bears in it? Nice showing by your hometown "fans" btw. Your home opener and the Bears fans vastly outnumbered you. No wonder why your beloved players get mad at other teams celebrating on their turf. Their field belongs to their opponents every week. I can see why Charger players get upset at that....

That made up for the total hose job the refs pulled on the Bolts on the non-call of the most blatant example of encroachment I've ever seen not called. You know, the one that killed a drive inside the red zone and kept the game a lot closer than it should have been?

A playoff team last year.

A team with no QB
Hmm... Comeback Player of the Year, and the second-most accurate passer in NFL history, with an extremely promising backup.

A QB who completed 76.2% of his attempts yesterday, despite being injured, while connecting for 2 TDs and 0 INTs.

a worse offensive line
Featuring the best young OLineman to come along in many years.
and absolutely no pass rush whatsoever.
Gave up about the same number of passing yards a game last year as the Chargers did.

That is going to happen from time to time. Teams will get screwed by the refs, but the REALLY good teams will overcome it and not leave it in the refs hands unless of course your opponent is given 5 downs. Nothing can really be said for that little mishap.

The Chargers offense took the Bears best punch and still prevailed. The better team won yesterday.

If the game was at Soldier Field, probably different results.

Seems to me that the Bolts were on the one foot line a few plays before when an obviously erronious call robbed them of a probable 7 points.

You obviously either did not watch the game or you had your head firmly placed squarely in your ass if you did, because the game did not change on a single play (and who GARA if it did?) The game changed when the Bolts completely dominated the second half.

Who's "puffing their chest" in here besides you, you simpering fucktard.

Next week will be a test for both teams. At least some people here are willing to give credit where it's due.

It'll be interesting to see how long your new star WR lasts before self-destructing. Over/under at about 4 games.

I can reel off about 8 AFC teams I would rather the Texans play than Chicago

KC
Miami
Buffalo
New York
Cleveland
Tennessee
Jacksonville
Oakland

They're an above average NFC team now that Jones is out of their backfield. Nothing more.

Horseshit, B.

Granted, Ced Benson had a terrible game against a GREAT defense. I'm sure he'll respond to Sunday's game with more aggression and play to his ability for the most part.

Chicago is still deep and once Smith acknowledges that Grossman isn't the guy, then they will be that much better with Greise behind center (did I just say that). Chicago's defense is arguably the best in the league and they will always be in games because of that. Trent Dilfer has a ring. Need I say more?

And I could list about 8 of the NFC dregs who would rather play the Texans than any of those (except Oakland) as well.

Sheesh, one measly win to open the season and you've already invited yourself to the upper echelon of the AFC.

What? No, I am talking about playing a team the Texans have a fighting chance against rather than playing Chicago. I never offered that the Texans were better than those 8 teams.
