Seems he's got a stout D-line (Ringer and Caulcrick had some trouble) and one HELL of a freshman running back, but his team's haven't really come together. The Pitt message board cried for days about losing to a "less talented Michigan State team." Uh huh. Then they rallied together and announced how badly they were going to crush Uconn. Bwaaaa. That didn't work out so well.

I thought they'd play a better game against UConn since they lost to the Huskies last season, but I think it will be another long year for Pitt.

Wannstadt was our AD's first choice to succeed Solich, nice. Just because he got two chances to HC in the NFL doesn't mean he is a good HC for college or pro.
