FSU vs. Bama
Auburn vs. gates

Looking for a Nole and a Tiger saturday. Dont know too many, if any, going for both teams in the state.

With Geno Hayes out this week and the offense sucking, it wouldnt surprise me to see Bama rout us. Hopefully I am wrong because I would never hear the end of it from family and friends.

The gates should roll AU in the swamp

FSU-Bama....5 pm CBS
AU-gates......8 pm ESPN

The game in is Jax. That will be a huge advantage for FSU. I also think that will be the difference....

FSU 20
Bama 17

The attendence will be in favor of Bama.

Is the Jawja-gate game a gaytor home game? And owning them in Jax since 1990 doesnt count.

I'll go with Florida, just because of the much higher population.

This thread was about which state had more teeth among all its residents combined, right?

Hardly. A lot more Bama boosters out there.

It will be 55-45 Bama. I will be there cheering like hell.

How so?

Tickets went
40% BAMA
40% FSU
20% Other

Bama fans will shuck out more dollars. I am gonna guess 55-45 in bama's favor.

Florida was unimpressive vs Ol' Miss, I doubt they play like that again. Should beat Auburn by 20.

FSU vs Bama on a semi-neutral field should be hard-fought game, I'd give a slight edge to Bama.

I will be there. I'm trying to stay low key about it, cause in my heart I believe I will be watching our defense keep a game close, with an offense that has no ability to move the ball down the field to score.

UF's young secondary was exposed against Ole Miss. Urban admitted he called too many running plays for Tebow in the game. No way the kid can survive with 20+ carries a game.

Auburn offense hasn't shown a deep passing game so I give the edge to UF. The UF defense has been able to stop the run and the offense has too many weapons for Auburn to contain.

Gators 42
Tigers 17

I would like FSU to beat Alabama and I base that on a lifetime of dislike for anything crimson elephant.

A good Saturday is when Alabama, Notre Dame and Michigan all lose. A great day is when they lose and Florida and FSU win. I'm a Gator honk but root for FSU to win every Saturday.....but one.

Not really. The largest fanbase from Pensacola to Panama City is by far and away Bama and not either UF or FSU. Bama also travels as well or better than virtually every school in the country.

Say what you want trixie, the game is not a home game for FSU.

FSU gets first choice of uniform and the home side of the field. Other than that everything is 50-50.

Not to many nole fans in Jax. More gaytor and sec types.

I was hoping I wouldnt hear that.

Dont know if that is good for the team in the long run.

Hey guys, if you fuck up, its ok you can still play.

No, it hasn't......the scrubs were in vs Troy(49-7 at the half), held Tenn to 37 yds rush.....one team had a decent game vs us now our defense sucks????? Wake up dude.

And BTW.......RUSHING DEFENSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Year: 2007 Thru: 09/22/07 Minimum Pct. of Games Played
Rank Name Games Carries Net Avg TDs Ydspgm Wins Losses Ties
1 LSU 4 118 107 .91 2 26.8 4 0 0
2 Oregon St. 4 127 118 .93 2 29.5 2 2 0
3 Boston College 4 105 165 1.57 3 41.3 4 0 0
4 Oklahoma 4 136 177 1.30 1 44.3 4 0 0
5 Florida 4 100 218 2.18 2 54.5 4 0 0

We may lose to a better team in LSU but we are athletic all over. This team will make some noise. We just happen to be in the same conference as LSU. This year.....they are better. Next year? Next year, UF will dominate on both sides of the ball.

I think Bama getting points is a pretty safe bet in this one, due to the two simple facts that it's basically a neutral site game, and because they've looked considerably better than FSU so far.

The tide that binds
"One of my goals in life is to go back to Tuscaloosa and attend a football game," Bowden said. "You know, just for old times. Sit up in the stands. Of course, it looks so different now. One of these days, I hope I can do that."

He gazed up at his office ceiling, lost in the reverie.

"I hope we ain't playing Florida State."

We?
He still has his team after all these years.

Thank god for Ann Bowden, Dr. Joab Thomas, and the way Bama treated Curry. Otherwise, FSU may have never been.

FSU has already had 4 QBs behind center.

pulling out all the stops and we still dont have a point.

I am upset.

Marcus Sims and now overmyer is out. This sucks ass.

We are owning the tide right now with nothing to show for it.

i was soundly unimpressed with FSU's offense here in Boulder. but, maybe i give pause to that estimation after today.

nice home W for the Noles against Saban SEC Jesus.

I was there. It certainly was not a home game. Seemed to me that there was more Nole fans there, but that could have been because Bama didn't have much to cheer about. Tailgaiting and walking into the stadium looked like a total draw...

I was at the game and it was fun as hell. FSU's fans were a lot louder than Bama's. Great to see Xavier play well when given the opportunity. Great day.

FSU won
UF lost

FSU was likely to have some growing-pains since they changed offensive systems, they should improve over the course of the season. This was a nice win, gives them momentum going into conference-play.

Hard to get settled when your ass is on the ground or on the move all day.

Wilson made good passes once FSU went to prevent up 14-0. I really dont blame wilson all that much Mickey had his boys ready to play and were in Wilsons face all day long. I wish FSU wouldve stayed on him and got the shutout.

Saban said that was once of the most physical defenses he has played against while coaching college. Yet is is one of FSUs worse in the last 20 years.

FSU Defense > SEC Defense

SEC Ballsucking Homer, your thoughts?

FSU Defense > SEC Defense
I wouldn't get all excited. Alabama is probably the 8th or 9th best team in the SEC this season. Plus, Tallahassee is geographically more southern than Tuscaloosa. Thus, FSU was going into the game with more southern speed.
