Rack It! I make my return October 20th for what looks to be a very interesting matchup with Sparty.

I see your OSU-NU photos and raise you some UM-PSU photos from the 87th row in the student section...

I think I can speak for Jobocky...I think we're more concerned about watching the game itself instead of taking pictures. Whenever I go to a sporting event, I take pictures of stuff before the game and then pack the camera away during the game. I think with the Buckeyes game, I think it would've been a little less stressful and would've offered more chances to get pictures of stuff other than the bands on the field. For me, I had to constantly deal with somebody's head in front of my view. I had several photos messed up with an arm or somebody's head getting in the way. I wanted to get a photo of a TD celebration but the only TD scored in the game was on the other side of the field.

Don't know if I speak for Jobocky (as I remember him not being the biggest fan of TBDBITL), but I think I can speak for most tOSU fans.

The band entrance and Script Ohio are all a huge part of the game day experience in Columbus. For me, the band represents the qualities we Buckeye fans expect from our football team: classy, crisp, in sync, one cohesive unit.

Note that there is no fairy fucking color guard on the field. Complete waste of space.

I've always thought the bands were an integral part of the sights, sounds, and smells that make being at a game (been too long since I've been) a unique experience.

If you have a bigtime band it's a huge part of the experience. Even hating OSU...everyone is in their seat in time to catch Script Ohio, and it's impressive. At UM the pre game routine has been the same as long as I can remember, and it never gets old, it totally gets me amped up for the game. If you don't get to AA for a few years and make it up for a game, the pre game will always be the same. The drums as the band takes the field, Fanfare, The Victors/opponent fight song, Varsity, The Victors as they leave the field....$$$$

I might have spoken too soon.

Yeahhhhhhh, buddy.

Watching the Ducks win the 2005, 2006, and 2007 championships in one fell swoop should be epic.

Doubtful I'll be early enough to be a jackass on Gameday.
