completely agree. i've enjoyed it as well, but i'm SICK AND FUCKING TIRED of the frank tv commericals. jesus fucking christ, anyone who has seen one game saw that commercial 1,000 fucking times.

other than that, no complaints. the commentators are about the polar opposite to the usual SHIT fox and espn put out.

CLEVELAND -- This will forever be known as the Bug Game.

If I didn't know better, I would think the Yankees have been cursed!!

and GOD, I do agree that they screwed the pooch on Frank TV. It might have been amusing, it could have been funny but I am so sick and tired of that shit!! I have seen too much and do not think I will ever watch it!!

Rack the playoffs.

Btw, hated to see Manny homer off of Frankie Rodriguez.

It's too bad the Angels aren't playing the Yankmees first.

P.S. Don't forget me.

If I had the chance to call this game, I would have been screaming after every foul ball! This is definitely the GREATEST GAME IN THE HISTORY OF PLAYOFF BASEBALL!!!

What? The Cubs your team?

Too fucking bad......I'm dragging them down with me.
cubs are far from my favorite team, shithead. go ahead and drag them down, i'm enjoying it.

radio, you're on the money when it comes to patrick. but in game 1 of the halos/sox series, i swear the tbs announcers were ready to get on their knees and suck josh beckett's dick with the way they were frothing at the mouth in full-fledged red sox nation mode. i thought someone was throwing a perfect game to clinch the world series it was so bad, but no, it was just beckett in the first game of the playoffs. jesus guys, give it a rest. there will be plenty of more times to go all RSN and all this playoff year. although they were much better tonight.

i've always though tbs did a great job with their baseball (and their BTPCF) coverage. glad to see someone else agrees.

by default, less fox and espn is always a good thing. turner has been doing an excellent job.

This harkens back to Game 6 of the 1927 World Series... the Greatest Game Ever Played. It was the 4th inning. The Great Babe Ruth stepped to the plate, the Greatest Player Ever. It was a 1-2 count... the great Ruth had taken the first pitch, a fastball on the outside corner. He took the next pitch, a changeup, low for ball 1. The next pitch to the Mighty Babe Ruth was a fastball, low and away. Then, the Mighty Babe Ruth, on the 1927 Yankees, the Greatest Team to Ever Take The Diamond, had a defining moment -- one of many in his, the Greatest Career any Big Leaguer has ever had... he took that 1-2 breaking ball to right field, and the series was over, for all intents and purposes -- the Mighty Babe Ruth had won the World Series for the 1927 New York Yankees, who most consider the Greatest Team of All Time...

Just in case anyone was missing Bob Costas.

Blame Derek Jeter's cologne for the bug problem!

http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/playoffs2 ... id=3051642

Yankees first baseman Doug Mientkiewicz said that the gnat-like nuisance was caused by the cologne brand of the team captain.

The scent is designed to capture ambition, courage, passion and confidence, said Avon Products Inc., which partnered with the New York Yankees shortstop to develop the signature men's fragrance.

It's a blend of crushed leaves, black pepper, chilled grapefruit, rhubarb, lavender, spearmint, bamboo, driftwood and oak moss, the company said.

Problem is it attracts bugs!!

Todd,

take a hint from this link

http://www.theoneboard.com/board/viewtopic.php?t=25271

***
Rodriguez has four hits in his past 50 postseason at-bats, and last night's 0-for-4 stretching a hitless streak to 19 at-bats.

J D Drew has 2 hits out of his last 7 at bats.

just sayin'
