USC-ORE Ingame

I've been looking forward to this game all week ... actually for about two weeks now since I had to work last Saturday and didn't get to see much of the games.
I see it being a very close game, in a wild shootout. Of course, that being said, watch it be a 7-10 game or some shit, based on how this season has gone so far.
The early kickoff time is more disadventageous for Oregon than USC, mainly because Oregon's throng won't have had all afternoon to have "refreshments" before the start. Nonetheless, that place should still be a deafening zoo. It should be interesting to see how Sanchez handles that kind of environment.
The last time I watched Oregon, they absolutely destroyed Michigan. The last time I saw USC, they killed what turns out to be the worst Nebraska team in decades.
All I keep hearing about is the matchup of Oregon's offense vs. USC's defense. I'll be interested to see the reverse. If I'm not mistaken, Oregon's defense is due for a game-changing turnover or two this year -- maybe this is the game.

Glad to see this is on FSN and not as a regional ABC broadcast. Nice little Pac-10 tripleheader on FSN today...

Crazy start. Both teams need to settle down but I'd prefer that SC settle down first.
Golden opportunity wasted with the turnover.
Horrible 4th and 1 call.

The next time an SC corner turns and looks for the ball will be the first.
Holy hell.

Yeah, aren't all the close ones?
Great catch by Turner for the TD. Sanchez had 2 or 3 great passes on that drive.

Autzen seated about 42,000 up until 5 years ago when they added seats and luxury boxes.
Capacity is around 54,000 now but they sell a bunch of SRO's I think.

I'm am very confused about the play-calling today, especially when USC was in short-yardage situations.
I like Sark but WTF? Overall this is a poorly coached team IMO and it showed today on the field.
Oregon outplayed and outcoached the Trojans today although I still think this game was winnable but the
Ducks capitalized on the turnovers and SC did not.
Props to the Ducks. Congartulations to JayDuck and Dinsdale. Good luck the rest of the way.
Edit to add:
P.S. Memo to Belotti: It's ok to have your team huddle and have your QB snap the ball with a couple of seconds left on the play clock in order to take some time off the clock.
You could have cost your team the game. Just sayin.

Carrolls biggest mistake in his tenure was making Seto the DBs coach and not hiring Mark Carrier.... Seto has said in interview after interview that his players will always go for the hit cause "most the time you cant get to the ball"
The lack of recruiting O Linemen the last 3 years, all the penalties and turnovers and Setos DBs never making a play on the ball have ruined this season. This team will be lucky to make it to the Holiday Bowl.
Emerald Bowl for the 8-4 trojans

Are there any other offensive coordinators calling the game from the sideline?
I still maintain that had USC knocked Dixon out the of the game, they would have had a better chance to win

Don't you have to hit the quarterback in order to do that?
SC had their chances. So did Oregon. Guess which team cashed 'em in?

Some folks on the husker-boards are big on Sark as a HC. I can't say I am particularly impressed considering the amount of talent at his disposal. He is doing OK but I'm not wowed.

I think it was OK to rush the field(as long as you leave the opposition's players alone). This was Oregon's first win over USC in a long time and I think a lot of folks were waiting for USC to find a way to win or Oregon to find a way to lose. Plus this keeps Oregon not only in the Pac-champ hunt but the MNC-hunt. Let the ducks have their fun.

First things first. Rack Oregon. And rack them again. The Porn Star coaches a great game.
Stewart is a beast. There was a 4th and long when Oregon had no business converting....and he did. It lead to a touchdown. That's the kind of day it was.
Talking points, good and bad:
- Patrick Turner can actually catch balls
- David Ausberry can actually catch balls
- David Ausberry can't block downfield for shit
- Sarkesian called a weak tit game showing no confidence in the kids
- Dumbfuck penalties are here to stay
- Vidal Hazleton is a budding star
- The Booty/Sanchez talk radio trainwreck is upon us
Now I will vent. None of what I'm about to say means the outcome would have been different....BUT...
WHAT THE FUCK WITH THE REFS TODAY. THERE WERE HOLDS AND CLIPS ALL OVER THE FUCKING FIELD THAT NEVER SAW A FLAG. THERE WERE HANDFULLS OF WHITE JERSEY ALL OVER THE FUCKING PLACE, AND GREEN JERSEYS SLAMMING INTO THE BACK OF WHITE JERSEYS. JESUSFUCKINGCHRIST. I FEEL LIKE BRADHUSKER COS I GOT DRYFUCKED TODAY.
I feel bad for the kids. I think Sark is a pussy that called a pussy game and didn't give the kids a chance to win. On one drive he showed balls and...guess what...we scored. The rest of the time we played passive, low percentage football.
Carroll needs to clean house after the season or he'll be in deep shit. SCfan has a short memory but they'll give him the offseason to roll some heads.
Gotta love college football.
Again....RACK THE DUCKS.

Re: Your Fukken Sig
Dude...no fucking way BTard and I share your sig block together. One of us has to go. Here's what I'm thinking.
BTard is a whiny bitch that doesn't know shit about shit. Words to knowledge ratio of infinity (can you divide a number by zero?). Only talent is in the consistency of being unfunny.
Plus I think when Alec Baldwin was gonna move to Europe like forever and shit when George Bush stole the election I think BTard tried to get hired as a sky cap. Anything to smoke liberal pole.
Dude. You are judged by the company you keep. Don't let a fucking retard loft a stench from your sig line. Why do you hate America?

It looks we saw the same game yesterday however I just thought USC was playing the most perfect, best team in the nation.
Don't even get me started on the play-calling. I alluded to it in a previous post but the more I think about it the more pissed off I get.
Who calls a play that runs parallel to the line of scrimmage when your offense needs a freaking yard?

Dude, you have so grossly underestimated Ducksfans' resolve, it's ridiculous.
Usually on Gameday in Eugene, with a 12 or 1PM start, the over/under on when people start slurring speech is around 8:15AM.

Did
Trojan fan just offer
Duck fan advice on how to be "great fans"?
Did I jusr read that right?
From the fanbase that's universally regarded as the biggest bunch of frontrunning bandwagoners in the entire CFB Universe?
Classic.
Maybe if you spent more time listening to Duckfan, and less time offering them advice, you'd enjoy the type of crowd-fuelled homefield advantage that other Trojan fans have expressed jealousy of
on this very board. Maybe you wouldn't be able to hear a pin drop in your building.
Newsflash, since you're an idiot -- Ducksfans rush the field after a loss, too. Because that's what "great fans" do -- celebrate the game, win or lose.
Trojanfan just offered Duck fan advice on how to be "great fans".... freaking priceless.
As far as the refs -- odd, since the guys I watched the game with pretty much all said "wow, this has been a really well-officiated game...
for a PAC10 game."

Aaaaaaaand another thing...
If I read one more "news" story that says "It was the first time in Autzen Stadium's 41-year history that two top-10 teams played"....
I think I'm going to puke.
Hey, you devout followers of college football who write these articles, I'll help you out...
It wasn't the first time this season that two top-tens played in Autzen.
