LJ NOT Out for Season

In response to FOX 31 in Denver's report that Chiefs RB Larry Johnson is done for the season, FOX 4 in Kansas City reports: "The Chiefs completely deny this story, saying their medical staff hasn't told them anything about a broken bone in the foot."

Never mind that Fox 31 in Denver couldn't even figure out which foot LJ injured.

Which is why I said this: http://www.theoneboard.com/board/viewto ... 390#471390

The Mules should be glad he can't go on Sunday....AP's new rushing record would probably last all of a week.

Did that scrub for the Bears go for more than 296, and I missed it?

Yep, nevermind that.
Myfoxcolorado.com said that was inadvertent and it's his right foot that is broken.
Word I hear is that LJ refuses to accept that he's done and is looking for a 2nd opinion. And King Carl and Bob Moore (media relations hack) are more than willing to deny, deny, deny, cause that's how they roll.

Did you see the way his foot got rolled up under that guys leg? That was fugly.

Where there's smoke there's fire. Wouldn't surprise me a bit that he's got a broken bone, and it's also no surprise that LJ would want to try and play again this year even if that were the case. The guy is a warrior and a straight up stud who just wants to win.

I laughed. He's a whimpering, diaper wearing pussy. His own coach even said so.
Laugh all you want- he outperformed your boy when they played in Week 3, did he not?

That's right- STFU.

If the Broncos win (possible) and Chargers lose (probable) the AFC West looks like this...

1st Place) Nobody
2nd Place) Nobody
3rd place) 3 way tie: Chiefs (4-5), Chargers (4-5), Broncos (4-5)
4th place) Raiders (TBD)

I be careful how much I'd crow about being "atop" the AFC West, Paul. Your division leader is likely to have a losing record.

I don't think Larry's physical courage can really be questioned. His mouth emits a lot of unwise stuff, but he's a tough SOB nonetheless.

I've never heard LJ cry about a thing, even when he had good reason to. Dude always speaks his mind (which is refreshing coming from pro athlete taught to guard their comments) and more often than not just tells it like it is.

The only knock I have on him is that at times he appears selfish, but which running back who has rushed for 1,750 yards in two consecutive seasons wouldn't be?

As for the diaper wearing comment from Vermeil, that was a bunch of horseshit that I'll bet Dicky wishes he could have back.

If only Lady T had half the sack of LJ, he wouldn't be glossed Lady T.

First ballot HOF's had best worry more about tryin to win their division.

First ballot HOF's had best worry about the rude greeting their going to get on the road at Arrowhead before they start crafting their acceptance speech.
