Little help, please

Post by War Wagon »

There's this song I hear once in awhile on the radio that I really dig, but I haven't a clue the name of the song or the band and that's driving me up the wall. Goes something like this:

Sitting around the house, looking for signs of life... searching for shadows on the wall

Yadda, yadda... something like that... great bass line and a unique cadence...

Oh, it looks good... when you walk, it looks good... it looks sooo good

WHO THE FUCK IS THAT?

Seriously, I'm about to melt down here. Fucking radio stations never fucking say who or what the goddamn song is anymore, and I've heard this song for years.

HELP!

If the lyrics were a little more obtuse and retarded, I take a guess it was Coldplay... but they're not that bad.

I continue to be astonished at the longevity of that song.

Oh, HELL YES!

Goddamn, that song kicks ass. Simply love that bass riff. Better than Ezra... never guessed it in a million years. I'm going to have to check out some more of their stuff bye the bye.

Thanks Cue.

Okay, I'll bite...

KC has some dece radio stations, but Better Than Ezra (along with Blue October, Guster, Ozamatli, Keane and countless others) ceased to exist the day the Planet decided to "Maxx" out on its loyal listeners.

Since I know that you're not the NPR-type, and unless you somehow managed to inadvertantly tune into KJHK Lawrence , then I'm gonna guess you heard "Good" on the Church of Lazlo out of Seattle.

Sucks that the Buzz is KC's only Alternative, but if you can stomach his progressive tirades, Laz's show easily dusts a very mediocre local lineup. Unfortunately, a steady diet of White Stripes, She Wants Revenge, and Radiohead played nine-times-a-day leaves me yearning for the alternative Alternative playlists of KC's long-lost Planet.

Actually Tru, i heard it again today on 105.1 "Jack - We don't take requests" FM. Hear some deece stuff on there occasionally. Talk about a radio station that plays all kind different shit. "Good" came on right after Gloria Gayners epic disco hit "I Will Survive". That's not a bad song, btw.

But yeah, by default, generally I'm listening to "The Buzz". KY and The Fox are still locked in a "classic" battle to see who can play more Journey, ZZ TOP, REO, Heart (that one's for Dins btw) etc, etc, ad nasueum......

Jesus Christ people, move the fuck on and die already. If I have to hear "Gimme All Your Lovin, All Your Hugs And Kisses Too" one more time I'm pretty sure I'm going postal on Max, Tana, and Moffitt.

Good is a great tune. I also love Desperately Wanting. Sounds somewhat like Live, but leagues better. Pretty deep hooks. Desperately Wanting
Yadda, yadda, yadda.
