What's the lock of the week this week? Discuss.
Penn State over Temple. I think the line was 24. Penn State will destroy that.

LSU takes on mighty LTech this weekend. There's your JON-proof lock.
PSU will not cover against Temple, even if the game isn't really that close.

On the road, right?
BWA!!! JUST KIDDING!!!!!
If it was a little more than 5.5, I'd say take UDub over "OS." Oregon State is without starting QB Sean Canfield, and frankly, that dude sucks to begin with, and if
he's the starter, it speaks pretty poorly of his backup, whose name isn't even coming to me. I mean, Coach Riley would give his left nut and his firstborn to trade QB staffs with Notre Dame. Not sure if Yvensen Bernard is playing, either. The Beavs' defense is really good, but when they're on the field for 55 minutes, I don't see it ending well.
But 5.5 isn't enough for me to suggest "lock" status, even though the QB news came out after that line was set.

LaTech is better than Stanford or Arizona.
Just ribbing you guys. Now, time to get focused and pumped up for the mighty Owls.

I think that PSU is likely to be matched up against an SEC opponent. I hadn't thought about it being Alabama...that would be a cool matchup.

Sorry, my bad.
For a minute there, I forgot that SEC BSH doesn't live on the same planet as the rest of us, where records, statistics, and that sort of thing actually count for something.
Both Stanford and Zona would be favored at LA Tech, and would be favored by large margins at home... but don't let pesky little inconveniences like
truth and fact stand in the way of the SEC Ballsucking Homerism.
Stanford and Arizona being rated so low is a function of their "meatgrinder" of a conference schedule. Or does that argument only work for why Vandy and Ole Miss don't get their due props? Seems to me, USC has done more winning over the last 5-6 years than any team, therefore the PAC10 homers are actually the ones with the Devine Right to bust out "because we said so."
BTW -- did conference scheduling force your hand to play LA Tech?
BTW -- don't look now, but Oregon is ahead of LSU in the Sagarins.

The point that's missing here is the sad fact anyone would attempt to defend La Tech.

I didn't know that was his claim to fame... but well played regardless.
My point... the Big East is pretty much an average conference this year as it is most years... South Florida was supposed to be the shit and now, not so much. WV
appears to be the only real strong team in the whole league.
I laugh at Adel's point... Cinci is no powerhouse. They're an above average team in an average conference. The
same conference as UConn, btw. Furthermore, UConn kicked the shit out of the two teams Cinci has lost to this year. "Expose UConn as a fraud"???? I hate to go all KC Smack here, but I can't help myself ---> I know we're "a fraud" but what is Cinci?
