The Cost of War

According to the Joint Economic Committee the Iraq war so far has had a total cost to the US economy of $1.3 trillion.
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20071113/ap_ ... /war_costs
So here I'm thinking that, with a little more foresight, we could have just paid every man, woman and child in Iraq about $25,000 in 2002 and still saved half that money. I'm sure that would have kept them all happy and quiet for at least 10 or 15 years.
But then the interwebs wouldn't have been nearly as much fun.

What, no mention of how many jobs or how much income the war generated for US companies? Shocker.
How about if we focus on the positive side of war for awhile. Sheesh!

RACK the TROOPS! ...and refrigerator manufacturers that provide homeless vets their cardboard boxes.
Did I say "cardboard box"? I meant to say "corrugated, single occupant, street-level condo w/ lease option".

Oh... so
you're the one person on the internet who bought that story?
Was that before or after the part where he singlehandedly captured a Russian sub, or when he was in charge of the US nuclear arsenal?

Next time you see a formation of flying, underwater, modified Abrams streaking past, remember our brave he-shes that risk their
lives (and dignity) daily.
RACK the 81st Fighting Gender-Benders!

Nope, it was after he played for Barry Switzer at Oklahoma but before he started chatting up Valerie Bertinelli.

Looks like a whole mess of the Uzi Model A with the short-barrel. Maybe Model B.
The weaponry is probably more of a collector's item then the hags carrying them.

Mikey bra, with all the fucking love in the world, will you finally look at the facts, we needed a base in that fucked part of the world and it has worked.
It is being widely reported that 70% + attacks are down, they have a free election in place, we have fought and defeated many terrorist cells on their soil instead of our's.
Iran is lead by a tyrannical, lunatic bunch mullahs and freaks that are assembling, if not posessing and having enriching process and we need to keep an eye on someone who clearly states that he want's to whipe us of the face of the Earth and he punishes the ideals that you Californian's hold so dearly, like homosexuality and freedom of speech and not getting stoned for being raped by your cousin's cousin.
We are and will win that bullshit war, inspite of Bush's bumbling bullshit that I bought into because we have a voluntary Military of the finest men and women that do their job's pennance while you fucks have your whine and cheese.
C Warren H. E-4, not a dime to live on if I would have had a wife and a child to support.
God bless the fact that our Men our kicking that sandn***er ass all over the place.
They are a pox that will park on your front door and cut you and family's throat, don't discount this, I live half of my life in London and I see these up close and very personal.
They are the muzzie pox and if we don't deal with them than you fucking flower smelling peacenics will be begging for a Marine withing a couple of year's.
Scum is what they are and they'll slit your throat, rape your daughter and take your wallet.
Ask anyone that has been there.

Wow, talk about your spoon-fed sheeple...
It "worked," eh?
If you think the US is militarily involved in the Middle East for any other reason than
one, you're a laughably ignorant piece of work.
The price of crude has
tripled since the Iraq War began.
With "success" like that, who needs failure?

Hey, all I'm saying is that we prolly could have bought off 99% of the population and made them rich beyond their wildest dreams for less than we've spent so far blowing the place up. And we would have been done with it at least 4 years ago.

Has it ever occurred to you why the PNAC lunatics who launched this catastrophic invasion had NO plans for stabilizing the nation of Iraq after they invaded?
Are you really just the phony Rove Monkey auto-bullshit racist creep that you appear, or are you plainly aware of your ludicrous and moronic positions on this and basically every issue you address?

What howling horse shit are you spinning today? Oh, that PNAC actually had a solid plan? Huh? As you know, ALL of the advice on some sort of plausible post-invasion strategy was summarily dismissed by Rummy and Wolfie. Instead they personally ushered in the most incompetent official in this entire farcical disaster, namely Jerry Bremer, who insured that instability would ensue.
As for whose catastrophe, how about the millions of Iraqis whose lives have been ruined? How about the tens of thousands of Americans with blown off limbs? The untold thousands suffering serious psychological damage?
And what, you're spinning the current Rusp Limpdick line that "we're winning!!"
Fuck you, you disgraceful puppet.

Rummy: "WE'RE LOSING! Ohhh, all the radio-thons & fashion shows..."
Chimpy: "Eddie Shore?, Olde Tyme Hockey?"
Rummy: "Piss on Eddie Shore, Piss on Olde Tyme Hockey. You're BLOWING IT!. Ohhh, boys, every scout in the NHL is out there tonight with contracts in their pockets. They come here tonight to scout the Chiefs- the toughest team in the Federal League, not this buncha... pussies"
Cheney: "Scouts???"

"run of the mill"?....
The PNAC is first and foremost a group of fanatical Israel supporters. You forgot to mention that little fact. It seems that several of its members are even dual U.S./Israel citizens. As for their agenda, it has been explicitly aimed at both Iraq and Iran since its inception. Oh yeah, and there's the niggling fact that virtually ALL of the present (unelected cabal) administration are members of PNAC. That is, before many of them have been forced to retire, jump ship, etc.
