Birth of Rome?

Yep most of the "aristocratic" classes claimed decent from some dvinity or another. For Ceasar it was Venus.mvscal wrote:Sons of somebody who didn't have shit to do with the founding Rome. There is no doubt of Julius Caesar's historical authenticity and he claimed to be the son of Venus. Is that supposed to be "evidence that Roman gods existed?" Personally, I think it more likely that it is evidence that gullible dumbfucks existed.
The more things change the more they stay the same, right?
