Stanford Expecting BCS Bid

On the heels of their remarkable 20-13 win today over The Best Team In The Universe, many Stanford players are expecting a bid tomorrow to a BCS bowl game, if not to be awarded the Mythical National Championship outright. When asked about their BCS chances after today's victory in The Big Game, Cardinal coach Jim Harbaugh replied, "Well we had a shitty season all round, but today we beat the best team in the universe. We also beat USC this season. Can any other team make that claim? I don't think so. As far as I'm concerned that makes us, without a doubt, the best team in the history of the world, RIGHT NOW."

BCS invitations come out tomorrow.

Stanford is a tough team and it was one of the 8 losses we expected on our way to another national
championship.
