I think LSU has probably the best argument of be there over USC, Oklahoma and Virginia Tech. They had the two closest losses...both in triple OT against bowl teams and one on the road. They have a win over Virginia Tech so that should be enough to eliminate the Hokies. The Sooners beat the former #1 team a second time but they have a last second loss at Colorado but getting pasted against Texas Tech...they did lose Bradford in that game though but you can't give every team with a key injury a pass. LSU won yesterday without Flynn.

It depends on what you have at back-up qb.
LSU has a back-up with less experience but more up-side. Not much lost there.
Bradford owns Halze and White owns twenty of whomever his shitty back-up is.
LSU is in this position because Dixon, Bradford, and White got hurt without much for a back-up.

Yeah.....that and they won 11 games and they have a pretty decent defense.....oh, and they won the SEC....let's see anything else? No, that about covers it.

DeMarco Murray was lost for the year trying to cover an onside kick, even.
different game with Bradford.
not an excuse,just the truth.
