I mean really,a 12-13 ranked team would do an injustice to OU.
USC, Va Tech even Florida would make more sense.

How do you think USC fans feel about having to play an illinois team ranked lower than ASU?
If the people who run the Fiesta Bowl would fuck their home town team and bring in kansas, they may as well move out of town

How do you think USC fans feel about having to play an illinois team ranked lower than ASU?

Illinois in the Rose Bowl is a total joke.
Whats made the Rose Bowl the best bowl over the years is that it was the only bowl where you had to be your conferences champion to play in it. The BCS fucked all that up when they stuck Nebraska in it. If theyre not going to send a conference champion to the rose bowl at least send a top 10 team, illinois is neither.

USC and Va Tech are both locked into different bowls than Oklahoma, so no possibility of a matchup.
As for Florida, each conference is only allowed a maximum of one at-large bid, so with Georgia almost a guarantee to claim that from the SEC, there's almost no possibility of Florida going to the BCS.
Arizona State vs. Oklahoma would make sense in the Fiesta, but as BtH stated, Kansas is more likely.
