Where the fuck you get your info from? Maroney is a bust until he actually learns not to ballerina his way through a hole... dude's in Belichick's doghouse.Neely8 wrote:Just the game we have been saving Laurence Maroney for....
Sammy Morris was their best back. Hopefully the lack of a even a C+ running back doesn't haunt them come playoff time.

Nice timeout call by the Ravens sideline when they would've had them stopped on 4th down. The Pats had more lives than Morris the cat on that last drive.
Helluva' game.
Helluva' game.
I hate sigs. But I lost a stupid fucking bet because a KC Paul lookalike and his sorry ass team were inferior to the greatness that is the Pittsburg Steelers.

I am glad that the Patriots decided to stop running up the score on their opponents.
Their games have been so much more entertaining to watch. I actually believed that they could lose.
Noone thought that Bill Belichick listens to them.
Well, he does! and you have his proof over the last 2 games!
I understand that most of the people that complained about Belichick running up the score
actually wanted the coach and the Patriots to lose games.
Well, by witnessing how Coach Brian Billick and his staff managed that game when they were so
close to (disgusted face) winning!
His team lost when they could have won. When his players nearly stopped the Patriots at the end of the game,
the coaching staff smartly called time out, just to give the Patriots one more chance. That was very sporting of them.

Coach Brian Billick is obviously the bigger man!
Give that coach the Soccer Mom Award!!

You think the Patriots decided to make the last 2 games close? You're an idiot. They finally faced 2 teams that put together a game plan that gave the Patriots problems and to the Patriots credit they kept battling.Jack wrote:I am glad that the Patriots decided to stop running up the score on their opponents.

So transfering the ball from one hand to the other constitutes control? riiiight Paul. Even your boy Jaworski said it was razor thin close.RevLimiter wrote:It was there for EVERYBODY to see, Jimbo.jiminphilly wrote:sucking Jaworski's cock now too?RevLimiter wrote:WHAT THE FUCK.....IT WAS A CATCH!!!

I will allow you a mulligan on that one. You can edit that reply no questions asked.

If that wasn't control of the ball, which I thought it was (as did the officials and replay officials) but I would have accepted it, especially knowing that the Patriots would have 1st down with the ball on the 2 yrad line with 55 seconds left.
******************************************************************
1st and 8 at BLT 8 (:55) (No Huddle, Shotgun) T.Brady pass short left to J.Gaffney for 8 yards, TOUCHDOWN. 26 24
The Replay Assistant challenged the pass completion ruling, and the play was Upheld.
S.Gostkowski extra point is GOOD, Center-L.Paxton, Holder-C.Hanson. 27 24
PENALTY on BLT-E.Reed, Defensive Offside, 5 yards, enforced between downs.
PENALTY on BLT-B.Scott, Unsportsmanlike Conduct, 15 yards, enforced between downs.
PENALTY on BLT-B.Scott, Unsportsmanlike Conduct, 15 yards, enforced between downs.

The Ravens played 58 minutes of Solid Football which was worthy of beating the New England Patriots.
The problem is, an NFL game is officially 60 minutes long (or longer, if there is an overtime).
Did you notice how the Ravens fell apart after that time out call which would have ended the game and ended the Patriot's perfect run.
The Ravens are not playing as a team. They are playing as a bunch of individuals and a bunch of coaches. You would never see Patriots players visibly questioning Bill Belichick during a game. The penalties against B. Scott also sealed the Ravens doom. They were only down by 3 with 44 seconds on the clock. If he could have held it together, the Ravens would have had a decent shot at kicking field goal or possibly scoring a touchdown. Hell, the Hail Mary was caught by the Ravens on the 2 yard line.
The Ravens could have and should have won that game. It wasn't officials calls that caused the Ravens to lose. It was failing to deliver the final blow to the Patriots when they had the Patriots down on the ground. It was failure by the Ravens coaching staff and players to realize what they needed to do. The Ravens wanted the game to end when they were ahead. They should have wanted to dominate the Patriots. They should have run up the score!

Jack,
I'm well aware of sarcasm and it's intended effect however your recent posts (where Taylor was shot and the symbolism behind it for instance) have left this forum scratching our heads a bit so props to you, I guess, for screwing with our heads. I'm more inclinded to think you're just a fucking idiot.
jim,
I wasn't trying to screw with anyone's head.
If you actually read my post, I cannot see how you wouldn't see the obvious sarcasm.
There wasn't much that anyone with an IQ over 60 couldn't figure out.
If you are upset that I didn't give you the Soccer Mom award...
Maybe you can get it next week!!![Image](http://theoneboard.com/board/images/smiles/icon_wink.gif)

Brady is the best QB I've ever seen with the clutch 2 minute drill. Elway used to hold that distinction in my mind...but I think I will give it up to Brady.RevLimiter wrote:Fucking WOW......Brady does it AGAIN!!!!
He's been doing this shit for years. If you face him, you HAVE to get a comfortable margin...or he will beat you with a clutch drive. It's really that simple.

Especially if he's allowed to replay 4th downs after they had been stopped 3 separate times. The Pats caught several fortunate breaks during that last drive or they're 11-1 right now.PSUFAN wrote:...he will beat you with a clutch drive.

PHEW!!!!! Went to bed at 10-10. Woke up at 2 AM to get the great news. A little closer then I thought, but a W in the end. My favorite thing is the complete and total meltage that the Pats leave behind after the game. Apparently using the word "boy" is now offensive. Oh and Samari might want to check on that officials playing history.....
BALTIMORE -- The NFL is looking into an accusation made by Baltimore Ravens cornerback Samari Rolle that an official called him a "boy" during Monday's night's 27-24 loss to New England.
"The refs called me a boy. No. 110 called me a boy," Rolle said in the locker room after the game. "I will be calling my agent in the morning and sending my complaint. I have a wife and three kids. Don't call me a boy. Don't call me a boy on the field during a game because I said, 'You've never played football before.' "
NFL spokesman Greg Aiello said Tuesday the league is looking in to the situation.
No. 110 is head linesman Phil McKinnely, a former player for three NFL teams during the 1970s and '80s. McKinnely, who played collegiately at UCLA, is black, as is Rolle.
