I like the hire. Not a big name, but then again Callahan was a big name and look how that turned out. Wulff is a WSU grad, and has experience coaching in the region at Eastern. To be honest I didn't know much about him unitl this coaching search but his Eagles did only lose 38-35 at Appalachian State in this year's 1-AA er FCS playoff quarterfinals. Not bad.

Price was contacted early but he didn't have much support from fans and alumni. His age was the concern more than anything. When Doba stepped down he said other programs were using his age as a negative recruiting tool and I think the WSU brass wanted to go with a younger guy.L45B wrote:Did Wazzu make an attempt at Mike Price?
