So was Plants voice.

A whole or half a step down a bunch of the time and he bailed on the tough stuff everywhere.

Page is looking a bit haggard.

They can still play, though.

One of three bands I'd still pay to hear in concert

Image

Yea, they look like Smackie, Mikey and Luther :(

And yea, they sound about 70% better in studio than live but so what - still the greatest rock and roll band of all time

I've got a taste for a lot of music from the 60's, 70's and 80's, but generally wouldn't be eager to shell out to hear any of the bands live.

But if the situation was right perhaps I might end up seeing Zeppelin, Floyd or someone else.

LED ZEPPELIN CLAIM EUROPE'S TOP ALBUM

LED ZEPPELIN fans have given the reunited group the best Christmas gift - a chart-topping album. Remastered hits compilation Mothership has stormed up the European Top 100 Albums chart to claim the top spot five weeks after its release. It's the first time a Led Zeppelin album has claimed the number one spot all over Europe. The rockers reformed for a concert tribute to late Atlantic Records co-founder Ahmet Ertegun in London on 10 December (07).
I'd cough up a hundred or two to go see them. Sure Plant can't hit all the notes like he used to but this isn't Van Halen we're talking about, it's Led Zeppelin, one of the 3* greatest bands of all time. It'd still be worth the money.

(* Aside from The Beatles)

the beatles were the worst thing to ever happen to modern rock.

they were nothing but a sixth grade garage band with a political lightning rod for a lead singer who had a shitty taste in women. millions of people under the age of 25 still slobber down on pole over sgt. pepper's and it makes me FUCKING SICK. sure, i loved the beatles for a while before i discovered REAL FUCKING MUSIC and it was almost embarassing to hear anyone in their mid 20s on down say the beatles was their favorite band of all time.

the beatles were the baby sister spears' dingleberries of the 60s. :paul: and the remaining faggot (aka brad wilk ERRR ringo) can't lick the taint of steve fucking winwood, 80s era be damned.

alan parsons is worth a bigger shit than the beatles. fuck the fucking beatles.

APSoS, nice melt. Now go cuddle with Zyklon on your $3K latex mattress and ice that balloon knot with some Sunday morning "Breakfast with the Beatles".
