So, who's gonna win this thing, now?

Stick a fork in Hillary. She's done. I think Obama is the dems uhhhhhh boy. It will end up being another blunder by the dem party who seem to be gifted in the art of picking bad candidates. If they went with Richardson or Biden, they'd have a chance.
On the rep side a surprise. I think Lazarus McCain is back from the dead.
This past summer it looked like he was dead after supporting Bush's wetback invasion plan. But he has hung in there and I think he is our guy. Huckleberry is good, but, he's too much of a 1 trick pony. He pulls the religious right, but, that's it.
McCain has a few things working for him. he has been right on Iraq from the beginning. He wanted to go in strong from the start, rather than half assing it like dubya did. Another plus is, unlike just about everybody else in Washington, you know where the fukk he stands on issues. He doesn't just stick a wet finger in the air to see which way it's blowing. The biggest thing he has is his popularity with dems/independents. it is pretty much thought that if he had been the nominee in '00, he would have beat gore like a drum.
I think the same applies now.
I look to see a McCain/Huckleberry ticket this fall. It will beat Obama/Edwards in a fairly close race.
Just heard something on foxnews that made me snicker.
"What does Hillary have to do to get back on top of Obama?"
That'll play well in mississippi.
