So, who's gonna win this thing, now?

Stick a fork in Hillary. She's done. I think Obama is the dems uhhhhhh boy. It will end up being another blunder by the dem party who seem to be gifted in the art of picking bad candidates. If they went with Richardson or Biden, they'd have a chance.

On the rep side a surprise. I think Lazarus McCain is back from the dead.

This past summer it looked like he was dead after supporting Bush's wetback invasion plan. But he has hung in there and I think he is our guy. Huckleberry is good, but, he's too much of a 1 trick pony. He pulls the religious right, but, that's it.

McCain has a few things working for him. he has been right on Iraq from the beginning. He wanted to go in strong from the start, rather than half assing it like dubya did. Another plus is, unlike just about everybody else in Washington, you know where the fukk he stands on issues. He doesn't just stick a wet finger in the air to see which way it's blowing. The biggest thing he has is his popularity with dems/independents. it is pretty much thought that if he had been the nominee in '00, he would have beat gore like a drum.

I think the same applies now.

I look to see a McCain/Huckleberry ticket this fall. It will beat Obama/Edwards in a fairly close race.

Just heard something on foxnews that made me snicker.

"What does Hillary have to do to get back on top of Obama?"

That'll play well in mississippi.

Dems have stopped listening to Republicans for advice on their nominee. In fact, the polling data from yesterday's caucus goers indicated that it is the GOP voters who are obsessing over the "electability" of their candidate. So peddle that bullshit somewhere else.

Except those P.O.W./"collaborator" ads fired off from the Bush camp made minced meat out of McCain.

You're forgetting the ads that insinuated that McCain fathered an illegitimate black child.

The next President will be either John McCain or Barack Obama. Either way a HUGE improvement from the current joke most of you supported in the previous two elections. McCain will not pick Huckabee, he's waited too long for this chance to blow it on someone a high ranking Republican party official compared to Pat Robertson (so I heard on CNN last night.)

It's looking pretty good for Ron Paul.

The KIND (I'm from Oregon, remember?) You should get yourself some. Might take some of that edge off.
