Pavarotti with cancer (pancreatic)

Bishop (multiple causes)


The point of contention is Bishop and Barbara West. I listed Bishop as a heart attack, he listed Barbara West as "old age".

Multiple causes CAN include final heart failure.

On autopsies, old age is never listed as a cause of death. There is organ failure or heart failure, etc...

All future deathpool participants would have to do is pick old people and cite their cause of death "old age" and use that as a catch-all for whatever specific reason they did die....

You put "organ failure/cancer" for Evel and the fat man, so all anyone has to do is put multiple causes and double their chances. That doesn't seem fair. Not to mention that "organ failure" is pretty board in and of itself.

As for BS, she was 9fucking6 so 'old age' IS a bit 'cheaty' as it were so I'll give you that one.

As for Bishop, he died of MOF not MCI. MCI is pretty specific and was not mentioned in any bio I read, but once Evel and the fat man are taken out for your 'cheaty' "organ failure/cancer" it doesn't much matter.

You lose all bonus point while he loses only BS’s bonus and still beats you by 14.

The ruling from the replay booth is not contestable.

Take it up with the supervisor of officials if you want a rule change.

If Kneivel had cancer of the liver and he was going to die in 3 months and had a heart attack from the stress of knowing that 1 week after he found out and died, you've got yourself a contestable gray area there.


Luther would be strict though, so I think there's no question FTDC takes it even without the old ladys COD.

No one dies of old age. Their old age causes shit to breakdown. Eventually one of these old age related things kills them. Seems to me that old age is a rather broad cause and could be claimed for pretty much anybody dieing past the age of say 60, since whatever killed them prolly had something to do with them being old.

We need to either have better rules concerning the definition of cause or just do away with it completely.

And I think you're correct. "Old Age" should be banned as a reason, but "Natural causes" might still qualify for a 96 year old who gives up the ghost for no specific reason.

Should Luther/Mikey overrule based upon Seer's challenge prior to shipping of said sauce, I will ship to Seer instead. As with any challenge though, once the next play takes place (ie: shipping the sauce), no challenge can be accepted.
