Saw 'em at the Universal Amphitheater (when it was still an outdoor venue) in June of '78. One of the all-time great bands.

Year Long Disaster is pretty good stuff too, as far as 2nd-gen bands go. Better than The Wallflowers or Sean Lennon by a long shot...

The Wallflowers should have stuck to covering Bowie songs.

BTW: One of my enduring regrets in life is passing up a chance to see the Kinks to study for a midterm. Exactly what the hell was I thinking?
