Commencing the 2nd week February and open to particpants from all boards. Judging will be done by representatives from T1B, TheTrolls.suck, TrollTrain, TheSmackbat, Hostboard, Stucknut and the Mag7.

Reading Velo's latest got me all nostalgic and stuff for some of the quality shit the boards used to produce. As long as someone's got the time and inclination to put in the effort, the audience will be here.

I don't think you can fully judge a message board without looking at the positive qualities of the people who post on it.

Some suggestions on how to structure this smack off:

1. Make it a free for all - No match ups or brackets for the opening week. Limit to three posts per perticipant. Let them roll with anything (sorta like Velo's thread bashing one & all) - This opens it up for any good rants on individuals, the boards, pop culture, etc. It also levels the field of the excel crowd and the wytches vs. any noobs from the other vast wastelands.

2. From the field, judges select the top 3 and then let them go after each other for another few days. This will reduce the burn-out factor we've had in previous smackoffs

3. Totally ignore suggestions on how to structure this smack off
