is THIS the year KSU finally beats KU on their home court not named Ahearn Fieldhouse?
Beasley with 33 and 15 running ISU off the floor* and KU had Nebraska down 30 in the first half.
Both teams undefeated in conference play.
*edit: Beasley played 22 minutes.

I called it to a couple of my alum friends before the season but I never thought KU would be 20-0 at this point. I figured KU would look more like the team in the last 10 minutes of the Georgia Tech game and not the buzzsaw that runs ten deep ('sup Irie?).

Does THIS answer your question?
Nice win for KSU....Beasley was (as usual) a man among boys on the court tonight. What a phenomenal player.

Nice win for the Cats......they pretty much looked better than Kansas in every faze of the game and every position on the floor last night. Very impressive performance.

Gotta rack KSU for a win a few decades in the making. Starting to be a big Frank Martin fan over here, especially on the defensive end.

looking forward to the rematch. nice to see somebody step up some in the North. outside of KU, the list of NCAA tournament teams from the North of late is pretty short. since 2000, i can only come up with 2 Mizzou teams under Quin, a CU team with Morandais and Harrison that lost to Izzo in the first round, and maybe one of Wayne Morgan's stellar ISU squads*. I know the old Big 8 gyms can be tough on the road, but that's pretty meagre and KU's had a pretty easy run with current "divisional" scheduling given that OU, OSU, and UT have all been to Final Fours in that time-frame and both ATM and Tech Sweet 16 or better. in addition to regular tournament appearances.
edit: 00 is the year Eustachy and ISU (Fizer and Tinsley bunch) lost as 2 seeds to Hampton, i think. so, even though that's two coaches and a bunch of Natty ago, i guess that counts)

Holy Freakin' Jeebus........I certainly mixed up my use of phase/faze in the post up above......I could edit but I'd prefer for people to be able to see that ridiculous error!!! Yikes!

how many of you actually got to see the game? without basketball package?
luckily one of the wank local stations picks up all big12 games not shown by epsn or fox sports. if not, that game wouldnt of been on
rack tejas yet again, another great tv contract.
ps before the season, KU and KST were the 2 teams in big12 that had major talent and would be top 2 in conference, so spare me it's KST references, they have a top team right now!

Belated racks to KST. I know they've got a stud in Beasely, but I haven't had a chance to see them play at all this year. Is this a team that can make a legit run in the tourney?

Hell No.
Frankenstein Martin in a bad suit is a fraud. They won't even make a legit run at the Big 12. They'll probably lose to a pathetic Mizzou squad tomorrow, and then get beat by 50 when they go to Lawrence.
Nice win to end The Streak and all, but the stars simply aligned that day and anyone with a clue saw that coming.
Enjoy your brief moment in the sun KSU, but it's right back in the shitter with you.
