WinMX has shot the shit.

Downloaded Shareza tonight, not much there and it cuts in and out of the downloads.

In other words it sucks.

I'm looking for a couple tunes:

50 Cent - In da Club
Poppa Roach - Last resort

Can anyone hook a brutha up?

I did a search on Win MX for 50 Cent "In Da Club". I got hundreds of hits.

winmx is slow and getting disconnected is an often occurance.

i use kazaa lite, but i get disconnected there almost as often.

i have both those songs in my librairy if you want me to send them.

Exactly - I found 250 hits to each probably and none would ever connect

I don't even download that many songs, maybe have 50 or so in my library and about 200 CDs.

Thanks for the hook up Q.

Try this alternate version.

In Da Club

You may find the mix a little easier on the ears.

Glad you like.

Looks like you got most of the available Kleptones material. Unfortunately, Disney (the owner of Queen's publishing rights) are being complete pricks about A Night at the Hip Opera. And now it appears that the Kleptones find it unwise to host those files on their site. Try this link for some more Kleptones fun.

No, I downloaded the Hip Hopera one too! I got that, the Hip Hop Robots, and the Detroit To J.A. albums.

Dan J and the alliance must really hate rap music.

I downloaded 50 cent, rather I should say, I tried to download 6 different times off Kazaa each time was a blank. Q - the one you sent me was a blank too.

On a side note, Kazaa made my spyware detector blow off the chart and I'm still trying to get one of the .dll files off

I started using limewire, and it's excellent. 10 times as fast as kazaalite, and far fewer fucked up files, easy to use.

I struggled to find these two songs for a week on Klite. Endless cycles of queue and connect and queue. found them both in 3 minutes on LW and d/l'ed them first shot.

Kazaa has a ton of spyware that downloads to your computer with the program. After uninstalling I ran 3 different spyware programs to clear all the crap off. Microsoft's new Beta antispyware (best for Windows OS files) and an Aussie program called TDS-3 were the best. TDS-3 has a free 30 day trial.

Another thing you can do to greatly reduce the chance of getting spyware in the first place is use FoxFire instead of Internet Explorer. The interface is much like Internet Explorer but it is much more secure and loads pages twice as fast. It even has the Google toolbar. Just make sure all the addware and spyware is removed before you install it.
