Why'd you move the play-in winner?

You DO know, that Stanford, ODU and St Mary's are ALL in the 30's in RPI, don't you? Yet you have ND making a #9 seed?!

And where's Depaul? Remember THEM!? You lost heads up! And they're over 10 spots ahead of you in the RPI, AND they won tonight!

Lets get this straight, Depaul, #55 RPI and 10-6 in a VERY good and overlooked CUSA, and you have them NOT in the Dance, while ND is a #9?!

You also know ND is #66 in RPI, don't you?
ND will be in the 3-letter tourney.
One week long sig, bet on it!?

Did you get over your Duke fixation and move on to Notre Dame?

Are you watching this abortion of a team right now!?

Digger!!!!!?

Time to rip ole #9 off the board there, TinC, errrrrrrrrrr........DomerAlum. Can Depaul get that spot?

Thanks, bro.

Selection Committee avoids regular-season rematches in first and second round games. If Oakland wins the play-in, they played Illinois during the regular season.

Isn't Vermont something like #15 in RPI right now? Not a real reliable indicator, imho.

Based my selections on http://www.dwhoops.info. ND will drop based on the loss to Rutgers, but as of right now, they're still hanging in there. Have you forgotten that they play in the toughest conference in the nation this year, and also drew the toughest conference slate within that conference (home-and-homes vs. Syracuse, UConn, Pitt, Georgetown and Villanova)?

I'll take the week long sig bet, although I acknowledge that we might not get in. The ACC and Pac-10 tourneys are the ones for us to keep our eye on right now (North Carolina State, Miami and Arizona State).

Btw, you can still call me Terry if you like, I registered the DomerAlum nic only because I'm having problems with my old email account and the link to register the Terry in Crapchester nic is lost in cyberspace somewhere.

Oakland won their conference. They're already in.

Yet another team A&M pounded that makes the tourney...

I love it. A 12-18 team makes the tourney. Makes me sick.

It's more of a poster fixation than school.

I'll tel ya one thing DA; if ND gets in, there should be a Congressional review.

Your "in league rpi" is #45. And The Big-Least RPI is 4th, behind the ACC, B12 & PAC10. Get it right.

I'll bet my bottom dollar IU beats Minn. to get in over ND any day. And there are even more teams that took care of business this week. Depaul is just one of them. Maryland deserves it FAR more.

I'll be thinking up my sig. bet., OK?

How many times does it have to be beaten through your fucking skull that IU making it isn't necessarily at the expense of ND? They both could make it, both could be left out, or either could be taken. It is not strictly a one or the other.

Exactly...it's not like the committee is taking teams based on what state they're in. There is a huge pool of clubs right now from the major conferences needing wins in their tournaments and trying to avoid the one bad loss that could end their hopes of getting in. Notre Dame probably had their bad loss that knocked them out but you never know what could happen in the next few days that might put them back in. Indiana is still alive but there's no guarantee if they win only one more game. The committee is going to have a hell of a time filling out this field because there will be a lot of teams left out in the cold that have cases of getting in.

Yep. Parity bigtime.

When Ill loses to OSU, you know there's total parity in the NCAA this year.

UNC looks like they should win it all. Roy finally gets his.
When I fill out my brackets, I gotta go with UNC over OSU in the Championship game, friends.

What if UNC is down 10 to Clemson with 7 minutes left?

DePaul "took care of business"? Coulda fooled me.
Maryland deserves it FAR more.
Maryland has 12 losses in an inferior conference to the Big East. Three of them came to Clemson.

If you think that was a joke, a couple of questions for you . .

1. Who got more teams in the tourney, Big East or ACC?

2. Which conference has the lowest-seeded team in the tourney, Big East or ACC?

3. How is it that Miami and Virginia Tech, two teams that were the epitome of perennial cellar-dwellers in the Big East, suddenly move up to the middle of the ACC pack in their very first season in the ACC?

Yeah, Jim Nance, Billy Packer, Dick Vitale and Jay Bilas are all in the midst of their ACC orgasm right about now. Who am I to think independently?
