Commencing the 3rd week February and open to particpants from all boards. Judging will be done by representatives from T1B, TheTrolls.net, TrollTrain, TheSmackbat, Hostboard, Stucknut and the Mag7.

All previous bannings from this board will be lifted making everyone's original nic eligible to participate for this tounament. Troll nics will be welcomed and encouraged for their commentary but are asked that they not be used in the actual Smackoff.

More details to come as we approach the date.

Snow is a hell of a lot easier to deal with than heat and high humidity. Occasionally, we get that sort of weather up here...and it's sheer hell on Earth. You Southern Types not only exist in that much of the year, but you brag to us about how fucking great it is. THAT'S what I can't understand...and then the minute you finally shut your mouths, you open them again to tell us that a hurricane is coming your way.

Increasingly, though...the Southern attitude towards weather is infecting people up here who once knew how to handle winter weather. Now, an inch of snow delays schools, seizes local media, and sends people into a dizzying swoon. WTF? We barely get winter weather any more. Now the mere hint of it is enough to shut everything down. Here at work, probably half the folks are either not coming in, or late getting in...because an inch of snow fell?

The company I work for has an office outside of Newark, NJ. They got 3-6 inches of snow today and shut the fuck down like it was the Blizzard of 93 all over again.

I was planning on visiting my parents up in the Sierras this weekend, but even though the road is plowed down to asphalt, they've still got chains required for a 60-mile stretch all the way to the Nevada border. It's snowing light flurries, the asphalt is bare and you require chains?
