i got a photo, but i'm not Atomic Pantload-ing myself.
he participated in the shoot the puck from the red line into the net game during the second intermission and they mentioned how the band was playing their five day residency in chicago that weekend. i was one of 10 people who cheered when we heard that. they also played heavy metal drummer when he was out there. cool shit.
we were leaving the game and were on the ground level concourse and i noticed who was right next to me. i called him by his name (had to be reminded by the marquee on the videoboard) and told him i was a big fan and i was coming back on tuesday to see the band at the riv. and since we were all in a hurry, and he was with wife/daugher, i just pulled a quick "can i get a photo?" really quick like. RACK him for being a good man.
21,700 in attendance today, the most tickets sold for a blackhawks game since the arena opened 14 years ago. RACK THAT.
