In reality, very few members of Congress have the opportunity to move truly landmark legislation through to passage. Even John McCain, after 25 years on the Hill can point to McCain-Feingold and very little else when it comes to his legislative record. Don't believe me? Go to McCain's website.

The truth is that nobody comes to the Presidency with life experience that justifies that kind of power save perhaps Eisenhower. And even Ike had to report to George Marshall. I voted for Obama because I see in him the potential to be a great leader and a transformative force in American politics.

I voted for Obama because I feel is is the best qualified person currently running for the job. I base that upon what I have seen and heard from him as a candidate and how well his campaign has been run.
