Sounds like a job for Carmen Trutanich,...
Carmen Trutanich, is a Los Angeles area lawyer who represents (among others) Trojan players who fall afoul of the law.
On Wednesday night, gang enforcement deputies in Compton were flagged down by a person who reported being robbed...
Moments after that, the alleged suspects were discovered in a vehicle leaving the scene...
The victim and witnesses identified two men inside as the robbers...
(USC recruit Maurice) Simmons, who was driving, and 19-year-old Lamont Hall, of Compton, were arrested for investigation of armed robbery.... A handgun and the victim's stolen property were found in the car, he said.
Well let's see... So Simmons was ID'd and arrested driving the get-away car with a handgun and the stolen property inside.... This Carmen Trutanich guy better be one hell of a lawyer...
GO BEARS!!!

Kind of shocking with all the stuff on the news the last few years about the Simmons family, a family of 6 kids in Compton where all the kids
thus far went on to get degrees from major colleges. The fact that they had kept their kids out of gangs and trouble was amazing. Perhaps one of the kids strayed from the family line. Some reports say that Lamont Hall robbed someone and then ran down the street, he saw Simmons and asked for a ride, shortly after, the police pulled them over and found the stolen property and the gun on Lamont who was in Simmons car. Not sure to believe that but the kid who used to clean my pool is in jail now for giving an old friend a ride up to Santa Ana where his old friend shot 2 people.
On a side not, Oklahoma signee Josh Jarboe was arested and is in jail for having a gun at school
Sooners signee Jarboe arrested on weapons charges

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
Oklahoma Sooners signee Josh Jarboe was arrested Thursday evening for receiving stolen property and having a weapon on school property — both felony charges for one of the nation’s top college recruits.
Online jail records show Jarboe, 18, was booked into the DeKalb County Jail along with 17-year-old James Davis, who was charged with the same two counts. Both were arrested by DeKalb school system police officers.
The school system has not released any information about the arrests or about the two young men. A spokesman said that the police report — a public document — was not yet complete.
Jarboe, a standout wide receiver from Cedar Grove High School, is ranked by Rivals.com as the 10th-best wide receiver nationally in the Class of 2008. He committed last month to play for Oklahoma, choosing the Sooners over Florida, Georgia and LSU.
In addition to the felony charges, Jarboe also could face expulsion from school under DeKalb schools policy.
Ill wait and see what happens with both of these kids, kids do stupid things

Stupid things....trying to buy beer before the age of 21. Getting hammered and causing a little property damage.
Gun charges and armed robberies are more along the lines of criminal behavior. Big difference.

But Simmons is innocent. You know what trojie...if you don't want your kids to be exposed to that shit, don't have so god damn many, save your money and move to a better place. Guilty or not Pete will look the other way and nothing will happen. This fucking kid could kill 3 people and Petey will still hold an offer out to him.

Wow, you mean there would actually be a consequence? I think Petey will roll out the red carpet for this kid and make damn sure he GETS his scholarship. Then the team will throw a party because he's one of them now.

If you can't maintain your own pool you're a fag.

Why use the same attorney over and over again when you could go the texas route and just give every judge in the state free tickets on Saturdays?
