somewhat misleading since the Big XII has to absorb the cheating of both the Big 8 and the SWC while the SEC is constant in terms of membership across those same years.
and to be good social scientists: this is not a measure of "cheatin" it's a measure of getting caught.

I thought about that SWC/Big 12 blending. You guys inherited a buncha thugs when you got the bulk of the SWC.
the Big 8 isn't without representation in the list above and the XII ain't saddled with SMU's gaudy "8". but, yeah, getting ATM and Baylor's violations puts the Big 8 over the top.

Dammit, Iowa never makes anyone's lists!
That's it, I gotta do something about this.
My parents are boosters......I'm going to convince them to go out and buy the Hawks a running back and make sure the NCAA knows about it!

You should get Ferentz to chip-in some of that $3million-per he is getting. Considering Iowa's last few teams have been pretty average I'd say he should kickback something.

No shit. $3 million is a lot for a guy going 6-7 and 6-6 in back-to-back seasons. We no longer need a RB since Shonn Greene has returned to school.....again......for now until he flunks out......again! But now that we kicked off another starting WR for dealing dope, maybe he could use some of his salary for a 4-star WR. He could sign the WR for a 4-year $500,000 contract guaranteed.
And then maybe a 4-star CB because we need some depth back there. How's about $200,000 for a 4-year contract for the CB. That's $700,000 of the $12 million he will make over the next 4 years. Chump change. Maybe gather up some boosters to chip in another $200,000 for a 4-star DT and this program will be set!
Like you said we've been pretty average the last few years, so why not spend a few bucks and become really good?? It's not like a certain school in downtown Los Angeles hasn't done the exact same thing!!
