I was willing to overlook Manning's exclusion from the top 25 college basketball players of all time list....these types of lists are very subjective and mostly about fun. I seriously question though exactly what Tim Duncan and David Robinson did at the college level that would merit their inclusion over Danny Manning or a player by the name of Wayman Tisdale. I think voters confused their professional success with college success. Obviously they had great careers in college but to include them over Manning was curious.
Then the kicker.......ESPN has a list of the greatest performances In March Madness or something of the sort...the list is very long, I would guess it consists of well over 50 players and performances. Hard to believe how Manning's 31 point/18 rebound performance against Oklahoma doesn't merit inclusion on a list that includes Askia Jones performance in an NIT game! (Although I saw the Ski Jones game and it might have been the greatest shooting performance I've ever seen, he scored 45 in the second half!) Now, perhaps they meant "March" literally and not April.....but even if you include March Manning had a Sweet Sixteen performance against Vandy and the mighty Will Perdue

I realize I'm not the most subjective guy on this matter (and I also realize this doesn't matter much at all) but I am I the only one who sees his exclusion from these lists as a bit odd? Maybe so......anyway, had to get that off my chest.
