short PET from friday at ford field

Bo Ryan should be fired immediately for not once considering double-teaming Curry. Not once during the entire fucking game were there two men on him at all. You give that kid a half-inch of space anywhere on the floor and he is all net. Curry is hitting at least 30 points a game and you're more worried about giving up the open man? This was the Wisconsin team I was waiting to see all tournament, the one that is colder from the floor than a U&L vagina.

Seats really weren't too bad, we were five rows up in the 200 level. They would have been MUCH better if the NCAA stuck to the traditional stadium seating format of putting the court in the endzone instead of at the center of the football field.

Major props to all the Davidson fans who showed up, they outnumbered even the Wisconsin fans. There were about 50 Villanova fans there, which sucked because I expected to see some rich vaginas at the game.

Kansas is probably the best team I've seen in a LONG time. Not only can they fly up and down the court but they probably average about six inches taller than Davidson as a whole.

No props to the Metro Detroit fans who left the Nova-KU game with 15 min to go in the second half. Yeah, the game was decided five minutes into the first half, but jesus christ, stick around a little longer.

There was some nice KU vaiginas in our section, but as a whole I expected there to be more.

a view of the ren cen from where we parked near St. Andrew's Hall. Paying $10 and walking eight blocks is better than $35 to park next door to Ford Field.

Image
classic irish bar located downtown. i've known about the place for a while from spending a lot of time downtown for the techno fests, but never had a chance to visit it. A classic urban downtown institution, and I believe the MSU alumni club had a party going on in the back because they were all wearing green and white and there wasn't a single lick of red in the whole back of the bar.

Image
another view of the ren cen, this time farther NW on brush near ford field.

Image
comerica park is right next door to ford field and i had to get a pic of the ridiculous ferris wheel they have there. WAR NEW COMISKEY: where you're there to watch baseball, not ride on fucking amusement rides.

Image
this is when we first got there around 6 p.m. and most fans were starting to file in.

Image
this is the view from our seats, once you adjusted to it, it really wasn't that bad. the last time i was at ford field in 03 i saw eminem and 50 cent from ten rows from the top in the far corner from the stage. so anything closer to that was money.

Image
another view during the wisky-davidson game.

Image
ford field menstruating, i mean, wisconsin fans in full force.

Image
davidson fans keeping it real. they were rocking all night, even during the ku-nova game.

i'll have some more sunday. RACK the ncaa tournament and RACK LeBron being booed loudly both times he was shown on the Jumbotron.

I read that Davidson alumni bought Davidson students airfare, hotel, and tickets to the game. All they had to do was show up. Rack the fukk outta that.

That was definitely cool...heard several hundred kids took them up on the offer.

Nice pics, sounds like a good time.

Christ, I hope you brought some binoculars. Playing a game in an aircraft hanger, errr... football stadium is a testament to the NCAA's monumental arrogance and greed.

Nevertheless, nice work Screw.

I don't believe it was airfare, but a bus trip. That's a nice perk (no pun intended), for sure. Davidson students also get free laundry service included in their tuition, which is....$42k per year.

I'll try to get some more photos on Sunday. And yes, Whitey, we did bring some binocs, which in handy.

we stayed in livonia and there is this sweet sports bar at 275 and 7 mile where we got to watch the repeat of the nd/unh game. i am not only amazed that nd scored SEVEN goals but they outscored unh 6-1 to finish the game. unreal. i will definitely be watching the nd/msu game tonight.

livonia is analville spelled backwards.

love the old shillelagh photo. it brings back memories of all my faux-irish college friends who insisted we stop there whenever in dtw. that house band of theirs that plays upstairs is really fun. just be sure to wear your parka.

$42k per year.
.
42K, is that it? We get to pay 48K next semester and possibly get robbed walking to school.
