I passed a truck yesterday with a set of exhaust stacks like these:

I don’t get it. Is there a huge advantage to running these pipes and looking like a dork? BTW, the truck appeared to be an early 90’s (second generation) Ford Ranger.

You think that is bad. I went to Terre Haute last year for a friend's bachelor party. They had a redneck truck convention in town that day. These trucks were ALL over the road. Couldn't look at any road and not see one. It was the first time I had ever seen these.
