old RPI vs. "new" RPI. if i'm Missouri, Notre Dame, or Indiana fan this interests me.....those stand out by the new measure.
the differences are pret large.

329 Savannah State 0 28 0.3401 329 0.3529 329 0
330 Maryland Eastern Shore 2 26 0.3354 330 0.3532 328 2
What? Something is telling me the old version was better.

No, Savannah State lost to more quality oponents.
I wouldn't be surprised if either one of Maryland Eastern Shore's wins was over Savannah St.

Seriously, at the very least, shouldn't the committee at least AVERAGE the two RPIs for this year when making their decisions?
Can you imagine changing the BCS formula after the season started? There would be fucking riots.

Something is fucked up with the computers if Kansas is #1 in both RPI systems. Nobody likes Kansas more than me, but they are not number 1 this year. RPI seems to overvalue the schedule you play and not the results.
