The mothers' emotional display stopped the moment Cashman said they were going to straight to prison, instead of being allowed to report later, as their lawyers requested.
A lot of women -- regardless of race -- use fake displays of emotion to get what they want. This is just the extreme version of the 'officer and lil me' gambit. The next time you (or any other jackass) feels sorry for a bitch just because her tearducts start flowing, think of this section of the story, and then apply it . Make sure it's applied regardless of race and money and your desire to fuck her at that moment, though.

They should have never lied in the beginning. You don't lie to cops, the less said the better.

They also shouldn't have gone out drinking and leaving their kids with two 8 year olds boys -- where were the other adult females around these two? This is taking children raising children to extremes. Why were two children chosen to watch over so many kids? And what's going to happen to the parents of the two 8 year old boys who were playing with matches in the first place? They seem to be forgotten in all this, and frankly I find them just as culpable. Did they even know their children were watching other children? Why weren't those parents watching these now dead children, instead? And with the two 8 year old boys being able to leave the house, I'm getting Lionel Tate vibes. Everybody fucked up.

Addendum, because this site is filled with racist morons (self included for extreme honesty): the names look quasi-biblical. That's the only opinion I have on them.

Been on this planet 36 years and I have yet seen anyone but a 350+lb balck chick do the "Oh lordy, lordy, someone catch me, I'm gonna faint!" Your folks have had a corner on that market since pretty much...ever.

Wait...hold on a second here...you're saying that people of all races play emotional games with one another? Wow, thanks for that, Dr. Phil.

Correct. In this particular community, there is no sense of alarm when children are unsupervised. The sole difference with normal circumstances here is that there was a particularly bad outcome.

I'm disappointed in the way the judge handled this - tough talk, but a light hand. These women should be given longer sentences. Under no circumstances should they be regarded as guardians for their remaining children.

Particularly galling was the assertion of the one "parent" that God had spared each woman's first-born child, to offer them another chance to be good mothers. What a bunch of rotten hog tripe.

Shakita, Furaha
Daekia, Cedano, Dezekiah, Azequel, Andre?

Pray for them.

(I wonder how they came up with the name Andre)

I can only imagine that the remaining vestiges of this community, that is the older folks in attendance, presented the case for clemency effectively. Personally, I see no reason not to administer the law's full extent in this case.

There were nearly 70 emergency responders who battled the blaze, and carried out the charred bodies. They placed their lives in jeopardy to save these kids, and then they had to endure the emotional carnage of the aftermath...something that seems to have affected these "mothers" only lightly. How do those folks feel today, to see these women slapped on the wrist? What a disaster.

Risa, mothers who do not possess decent human qualities are not attractive. Let's just put it that way.

Sounds like they'll be doin' 1-2 for IM.
Mangham sobbed. She said she believes God spared each woman's first-born son to give them a second chance at motherhood.

mvscal wrote:Actually I think those "mothers" should have gotten a medal and a free hysterectomy. They performed a valuable service to the community by zeroing out five future welfare sponges/wards of the state not to mention sparing the public from being victimized by the crimes they would have undoubtedly committed in their ceaseless quest to "keep it real."

Incarcerating these losers for a couple years is a bargain. Good job, nogs.

It's hard to take issue with those assertions. I think those who endeavor to make a better use of welfare resources in order to emerge from ignorance and poverty (and there are those who are doing that) are slapped directly in the face by a lenient approach with these subhumans.

These women should have received harsh sentences...and we should be talking about NORPLANT.

I agree with you -- but that doesn't stop folks from lumping all together, anyway, does it?

don't forget grampa Lutual.

Somebody needs to pass a law making it illegal for black folks to invent new names. They really suck badly at it.
