Since we are under 100 days and what not why not throw out a few recent trivia questions.

Which team has the most wins over the last decade?

Which team has the longest consecutive streak of winning seasons?

Which team has the longest consecutive bowl streak?

Name the three team with 4 straight bowl wins.

Which team(s) have blocked the most kicks since 2000?

I have top 5 on all but question 4 were there are of course only 3.

Boise State

Followed by (in no particular order)

Texas
Oklahoma
Ohio State
Virginia Tech

Boise State, Texas, and Oklahoma are the only schools with more than 100 victories over the last decade as well.

No correct answers yet. Some names mentioned are in the top 5, but no one has put the correct team in the top spot.

We are talking Division 1-A football correct?

If so I must contend that the correct answer to the first question is Boise State and Texas both with 103 wins.

Oklahoma is third with 102.

Virginia Tech and Ohio State have 99 and 98 respectivly.

I gave Boise State the nod over Texas in the wins because they have a better winning percentage than Texass (81.1% > 80.4%) and can actually beat Oklahoma. :hfal:

Nebraska has the current record for consecutive bowl appearances but Mich will pass it after the 2010 season.

One more reason for me to say FUCK YOU CALLAHAN. We could've made a bowl in his first year without the cronie-hires on D and his preference for working an overly-complicated system to getting a couple more wins. The meltdown that was '07 was inexcuseable. No way should we have been left at home in his fourth year with HIS recruits around him, now we have to start from zero again.

Ummm 1997-2007 is 11 years and that is +1 on a decade. Just sayin'

The last decade 1998-2007 would be Boise State and Texas in wins ;)

My bad, I read the question as referring to a current bowl game streak.

1) Texas 103
2) Boise State 102
2) Oklahoma
4) Virginia Tech 99
5) Ohio State 98

Which team has the longest current consecutive bowl streak?
1) Michigan
2) Florida State

Where are you getting that state because I have gone over both teams schedules and Boise State has 103 wins over the last decade with a better winning percentage than Texas.

Boise State...

2007... 10-3
2006... 13-0... 23 wins
2005... 9-4... 32 wins
2004... 11-1... 43 wins
2003... 13-1... 56 wins
2002... 12-1... 68 wins
2001... 8-4... 76 wins
2000... 10-2... 86 wins
1999... 10-3... 96 wins
1998... 7-5... 103 wins

By my math that's 103 wins.

Suncoast,

1998 is where you are off. I have them with 6 wins from their own site, not 7.

BTW, let's not bring states into this. Insert Oklahoma jokes here...

Okay I was getting my stats from Stassen and Collegefootballdatawarehouse which both had them at 7 wins in 1998.
