Nice mechanics by the Pac 10 guys. The white hat is very interested in something happening on the ground. Possibly a loose ball. However if that is the case what the hell is the other official doing so close that he has to protect himself from the $C player?
Way to shine Pac 10.

Seer, may I suggest you just editing this thread title for your countdown? I am making it a sticky so it will remain at the top of the forum. Just keeps the clutter down. Also, it would be a cool thread to archive once the countdown is complete.

My wife loves Scrubs. I watched an episode with her recently. The main guy gets a date with the hot candystriper, and then can't get it up for her. Hell, I think even babs or m2ool would harpoon her permanently to the carpet.

I still find it humorous that you guys are counting down to a Wednesday.
94 Days until UCLA's first game (on a Monday)
92 Days until the rest of football starts their season.
But this will be cool when we are all sitting in the stadiums watching our team plays and you will have 4 days left until the season starts.
Awesome

Our first game is actually a nationally televised match vs. Tennessee on Labor Day monday...
Wonder how many will be watching you play Miami of Ohio or some such team....

UCLA is quite the storied CFB program. I’ve yet to recognize any of the players mentioned by the seer.

Cool thread to archive? For who? Those who can't sleep?
Now I see why the CFB forum has 68,000+ posts, 80% of which are pure fluff. What a bunch of no life having cocksucking LOSERS.

Wags, I know you can't think past the next pallet that needs a movin' but if everyone posted their fave playa numbers as the countdown commences in the same thread, yeah, it could turn out to be a cool thread.
While your more adept nonKC MiseryFan picked up on my intent (thanks Adel), thanks for focusing on the lowest common denominator of my post. Since you didn't pick it up initially, I will spell it out for you.
I don't fucking want 99 threads in the CFB forum where each thread has between 1-3 posts about what fucking player wore that fucking number. If everyone dedicated it to one thread, it might be a nice history of CFB thread. Hence, it would be cool vs. spamming of the BEST sports forum in this joint. Unlike the NFL (read: AFC West tardfest) forum, I'd rather not have every thread here look identical like you guys do over there with who sucks less in the AFCW.
You might want to make a suggestion to your mods over there to Sticky a "AFC West - We All Suck And Let's Debate It" thread. It may make that forum more readable as I tried to do here by having not every thread look the same. Until then, don't even think about stepping to the CFB crowd. You'll be buried.
You say we have 68k posts because of fluff? Fuck that. We have 68k posts because we're the best fucking forum in this place. The fact I saw what was going on here, limited it to one thread to cut DOWN on traffic, should tell you we aren't about quantity but quality.
Watch. Learn. And most important...shut the fuck up. I know you and your tooth will want to spit something back. Resist the urge.

i agree. how did we do this last year? we started with like 60 but it seemed to be pretty smooth and wasn't gonna be a 18 page thread plow if you wanted to know who Ohio State's best # 9 was?
#95 is slim pickins at OU, Calvin Thibideaux in 2002 (one year) is one of very only a half dozen players i can remember.
(yeah, i know you didn't know slim pickens played for OU..... )

we could start at about #135 if we counted down to the first Nebraska road game.
not playing away from Lincoln until the 2nd week in October (and not for the first time) is pretty weak IMO.

well, get in line behind Texas Tech: yet another brutal non-conference slate for the Red Raiders. Leach is making Bill Snyder look like King Leonidas.
08/30/08 vs. Eastern Washington
09/06/08 at Nevada
09/13/08 vs. SMU
09/20/08 vs. Massachusetts

Ya at-least we scheduled a real opponent in Va Tech. Might make the trip to see the 'skers in Blacksburg next year. We didn't COMPLETELY pad the damn sched.
Playing four teams that are visiting as much for the check as for the game is just ridiculous. You have 19 returning starters Leach, show half a gonad.

yes, he does, he read something in KC star about some guy named washington ,who would be this years starting rb for Mizzou. He didn't think it was George Washington, but to make 100% sure, he went to mizzoutigers.com and checked the roster. Not only is it not George Washington, but an African American kid with braided hair. He is anxiously awaiting tomorrows issue to find out more on this Washington(not George) kid, so he can come in here and flaunt about MU, top 10 ranking, and tout this Washington(not george) kid.
you are so owned, and don't even know it!

it's kind of hard to take someone seriously who is no stranger to posting that the NFL is better and he's a Chief's honk on the CFB board. and only became vociferously a Mizzou fan last year. it's pretty easy to see where that comes from.

huh?
I've been wearing a Mizzou av since TNW, and posting about the Tigers for years, albeit more in the CBB forum. No bandwagon riding for me. I suffered thru many a year of shitty football.
Actually, I became an ardent Tigers fan in 1980 at the start of the Sundvold/Stipanovich era/domination of the Big 8.
Sorry, I'm not down with spam threads where geeks inflate their post totals with non-takes. They have nothing worth saying, and say it well.
Seriously, who gives a fuck who wore a certain number? You call that a "take"? If your life is so damn boring that's what it takes to entertain you, consider swallowing the business end of a shotgun

We have 68k posts because we're the best fucking forum in this place.
