Going to miss the RICE game tonight as I will be at Cougar High calling HS baseball playoffs on the radio. If anyone wants to laugh at my expense here is the link. Since we rotate the play by play duties during basketball and baseball you will only get my color commentary.

Yeah, I find it a ton of fun.

My wife has encouraged me to apply for a few jobs locally as a college broadcaster. That would mean no more officiating and less flying, but home much more often. We shall see, but in the meantime I am "building time" behind the mic.

Yesterday's game three went over 5 hours. It was won in the bottom of the 13th, 6 extra frames. I haven't spoken a word since.
