You mean it's not?

I'd be rather worried about the legal ramifications if I were him. Bradford Family = loaded, Jones family = VERY loaded. Not too mention the Gaylord family who owns the Daily Oklahoman might not like half their families alma mater and athletic program they dump millions of dollars into each year in donations (their name is on the football stadium, hint hint) being played high schoolish type pranks on. They probably aren't going to take the copyright infringements too lightly either.

All and all DarthMoron is rather fucked.

Am I misremembering, but didn't I see Darth Husker on the Huskerpedia board in 2002 or so?

The story would've been more believable if it had been crystal meth instead of coke. It'd at least explain Bradford's hideous complexion.

I kind of thought the fact his father is basically one of the whitest people I have ever seen on earth and his mother being Cherokee/Seminole American Indian sort of did that but that's just me.

I didn't realize Native Americans were more prone to acne than the general population. You learn something new everyday, I guess. Does this mean that if I continue to make fun of his crater face, it makes me a racist?

So what was Conradt thinking Wednesday when he lifted a template off The Oklahoman’s web site, News-OK.com, wrote and pasted a bogus story about the Sooner pair’s arrest on cocaine distribution charges, then posted it on a message board?
He was thinking: SCOREfuckingBOARD!, you miserable Sooner bitches!!!

Fucking Beautiful. This guy is now a LEGEND.

Aside from the legal trouble he may have gotten himself into, RACK! this sonofabitch. There's not a one of you here who at one point in your posting career wouldn't have done something similar... if you had the skillz and thought you could get away with it.

Thats some Bullshit, if the dad wants to sue anyone, try the fucking radio DJs who ran it on the air like it was the truth. I guess those cockstains dont have to cross check sources or make sure what theyre blabbing on the air is a fact. It was a god damn message board that they got the information off of for fucks sake, those reporters who spread it should be the guys with their nuts in a sling, not the only smart person in Texas who figured out how to get over on all those fucking idiots.

what about all the wytch pics (something pretty rampant on Sooner boards), is Cheesesteak Charlie going to go after all the people who made him look fat in pictures?

Which leads credence to the notion that 90% of the populace are fucking pussies, afraid of their own shadow, and await breathlessly for someone else to tell them what to think.

Which percentile do you fall within?

He posted it on a message board you fucking moron, no one with even half a brain gets their news off of message boards, well except Texas fans . Are you saying you should be held liable for everything you have ever posted on a board even if it was in jest?
The fault here lies with the morons that put it on the air and stated it as fact without checking to make sure it was, not the guy who played a message board prank. You sound like that lady suing Borat because she fell for his act and put him on her news show in Atlanta or something, get HBO or something ya stupid ass, Ali G has been on for years

They're both "at fault," you halfwit. The creator lifted property from The Oklahoman, and attempted to frame it as the publication's work. Maybe you can understand why the Oklahoman is considering legal action, you fucking nimrod? Obviously he didn't just slap a few words up in a message board text box, throw on some italics and call it good. Clearly it was believeable enough that two different radio stations ran with it. I'm sure If somebody created a fake website which contained libelous claims about you and your family, you wouldn't have ANY problems with it. :meds:

Throw the legal aspect of this away. What he did brings into question serious moral integrity. How do you think an innocent football player feels when a story like this is spreading across campus? Easy for you to say "I have no problems with it" when you're sitting comfortably at your computer desk fondling your cock without a single care in the world outside of your immediate existence. But obviously, with your track record here, the question of morals isn't much of an issue for you. You'd crack some 12 year old skulls in a back alley if that meant winning your little t-ball game by 37 runs.

Probably would have been safer with a funnier story, like Bradford got caught stealing a vibrator or some such shit. Coming-up with something serious that some dips could take seriously was just asking for trouble.

Those DJ's are idiots, I guess it didn't occur to them that if it was real you'd be getting it from a better source than a messageboard.

A message board was simply a host used for the fake story. He used a template from an actual news source and framed it as their story. For somebody to say that they have ZERO problems with that is incomprehensible to me. That's no different than creating a link to a fake CNN site and posting in on the board. I agree that the radio stations are in the wrong, but I also hope this dipshit gets sued and pays legal fees out the ass.

Lighten up, Francis.

Your faux outrage and indignation aren't quite so believable after seeing how you have no problem whatsoever throwing anyone who posts on this board under the bus for your own amusement. And don't even try to say that's different. It's essentially the same damn thing, you hypocritical fool.

Btw, 12 year olds don't play T-ball, "nimrod".

Well, maybe you did.

You might have a point, Whitey, if Mgo had created a fake USA Today website that looked just like the real thing, and had “USA Today” claiming that Whitey Wagon is a tard who sucks out loud.

Oh, wait a minute. You wouldn’t have a case.

Newspaper sues over bogus OU article

By The Associated Press

OKLAHOMA CITY — The publisher of Oklahoma's largest newspaper and one of its sportswriters have sued a University of Texas employee who admitted posting a bogus article on the Internet about two University of Oklahoma football players.

The Oklahoma Publishing Co., which publishes The Oklahoman newspaper and newsok.com Web site, filed a civil lawsuit Monday against James W. Conradt, a Nebraska football fan who works as a service manager for UT's information technology department.

The 10-count civil lawsuit accuses Conradt of libel, copyright violations and trademark infringements. It seeks unspecified financial damages.

Conradt, 36, used a template from the newspaper's Web site to publish a fake article on the Internet on July 9 that stated OU quarterbacks Sam Bradford and Landry Jones had been arrested for intent to distribute cocaine, the lawsuit alleges.

Conradt allegedly put a link to the article on his Web site, http://www.darthhusker.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;, and on an online message board.

The lawsuit claims Conradt used sportswriter Jake Trotter's byline and various OPUBCO trademarks to give the bogus article the appearance of legitimacy.

A telephone message left Tuesday at Conradt's office was not immediately returned, and
court records do not indicate if he has hired an attorney.

Conradt's Web site has been taken down and replaced by a simple message apologizing for the hoax.

"There was a fake news story posted for a few hours Wedensday at this location that was intended to be a joke about Oklahoma football," the message reads. "A link to this site was posted on a Husker fan discussion board. I have decided to take down my entire Husker site.

"I am sorry for any trouble this has caused."
